Thanks to Mr. Renner for his services, the tranny is now out of the 1.3L MX6. Hopefully it'll get it guts worked over and be reinstalled for next weekend, maybe ready to play saturday night. Just one time I couldn't drive my own car and I was dying!

That's what I've always done also, on my BMW 6cyl and my Chevy and AMC V8's. Haven't really done it but a little on my 7 so far.
