  1. I am finally selling my 1989 Dodge Colt. This is as bare bones as it gets for a car. It has no power steering, AC, power windows, locks, etc. It does have power brakes, stereo with cassette, and 130K miles. I've been driving it for 2 1/2 years (I only put about 6K miles a year on it), the only problem I ever had with it was a bad computer. That was right after I bought it. It's been great ever since. I routinely get 34 - 42 MPG out of this car. Interior is decent, no rips or tears in the vinyl. The only thing wrong with it right now is the clutch (not much left, it tends to slip if you accelerate too hard sometimes, but is fine if you drive it normally), and the CV joints just started making noise. However, it had a tune up done late last year, has a newer radiator, tires are in great shape, and the brakes are good. It's perfectly driveable as is, but in the near future, it might need that new clutch and CV boots. It's also missing the driver's mirror, as someone hit it and broke it off when it was in a parking lot. I never bothered to replace it, because there are no blind spots in this little car. A quick glance over your shoulder, you don't need a mirror. For someone who just wants a car to get them back and forth to work/school or so they don't have to drive their nice car in the rain/snow, it's perfect. I'm asking $600 for it: http://www.wease.net/pics/100_0038_1.JPG Reply here or e-mail me at wease7@msn.com if you are interested!
  2. Yeah, as I said on COFBA, it was pretty close for my last house, $112K. But my current house it has at $66K, but it's worth closer to $225K...

    Beavers!

    I'd eat here everyday...
  5. For $70K, I'd be driving a C6 Z06, not an 11 year old car that will attract the wrong kind of crowd...
  6. Let's hope you do better than the last time you raced me...
  7. I wouldn't sweat it. You seem to be doing very well for yourself at 19 years old. According to your profile, you own an "06 M3 & 04 Matrix". That's not bad for your age. So you must be doing something right...

    98 Cobra Svt

Keep in mind this was for the track only. I didn't normally drive around like this. I removed the front seat, floor mats, hatch cover, spare tire/jack, and the rear seats. That's about 100 pounds of stuff right there. What was your trap speed when you ran that time?
  9. One of the best features with NewEgg is the shipping. Cheap and FAST. I haven't used anything else in the past 2-3 years...

    98 Cobra Svt

I was just going to post about me. Is your 2002 Z28 a 6 speed or auto? If that was posted or in your profile, I didn't see it. My 6 speed, 2000 WS6 Formula, with just a lid, exhaust, Nittos, and some weight reduction went 12.585 @ 111.60. With just those simple mods, think you'll have little problem beating the Cobra, if you can drive your car...
  11. I can't decide that. Only current actual members of Team Z06 can...
  12. And another thing, just because I like to give John shit: You can't be a member of a team until you actually own that car. Or at least make payments on it. If I am wrong on this, then put me down for the first member of Team Saleen S7...
  13. You've still got a year to change your mind, so I'll believe it when you take me for a ride in it...
  14. RX7 + Wicked Setup = RX7 - Rotary + V8 of some sort...
  15. That's cool, Brian. I know what you mean about family. By the way, '86 GT's > *...
  16. I was born in Rochester, NY and lived there for 22 years. You’d think I’d be a Bills fan like everyone else, but no. The Green Bay Packers were the only pro team my father and I could agree on (he hates the Yankees and was never much of a hockey fan; my NHL team is the Rangers), so I became a fan of them. They are still my team today. College sports in New York is pretty much non-existent (only a few D1 colleges exist), so with my wife an OSU alumni, when I moved here in 2000 I became an OSU fan…
  17. I agree. But you won't see many of these on the street and you won't see many of them modded. They are $39,999 before the markup and judging from the Ebay ads I've seen in the past 2 weeks, people are prepared to pay $10K - $20K over the MSRP for one. Which keeps me from buying one...
  18. Holy crap! Apparently, the guy that runs that site has some good inside info and hasn't been wrong yet. Those are some sick numbers for that car, too bad it will be marked up like crazy...
  19. That sucks. But Daron = Super Cop...
  20. No shit, I'm not made of money. Yet...
  21. I think he's more surprised at your comparison between performance potential of a Cobra vs. a Mach 1. I would never buy a Mach 1. They are great cars, but they are kinda inline with an LS1 and I already had one of those...
