I don't know, I got mine after talking to a realtor and finding a house.. everything was stressful and last-minute for me. I would imagine they aren't good forever since your bank account is static. Make sure you have at least 4-5 thousand bucks in your account. If you parents/friends gift it to you, you'll need to fill out some gifting letter saying something along the lines of "this money is a gift and not to be paid back, it isn't just for the house" along with two previous month statements from that account.

I have a large capacity dryer. Old as hell and kinda works. Free. I also have a new'ish washer. It washes clothes, but the g/f says the washer has a funny smell to it? Clothes smell fine though. Free. Both were from the the previous house owner.

yeah right go watch the first season again and tell me there aren't parts you wanna blow your head off from all the dramatic talking. I do agree though, they've abandoned the guy and his son, Merl, now the girl. It's early in the entire series as a whole, so maybe in like season 5 we'll see a one-handed man pop up and all say "ooooooooh yeeeeeah"
