  1. Hard to believe, but only 18 posts in all these years. Patterson, the V6 in the Alfa sounds better than sex.
  2. Yep, that's my old one.
  3. IIRC they do not list it on their websites even though they do stock it. Give them a call to make sure.
  4. I think PAP Parts/Truechoice used to sell it as well.
  5. I even started the car a while ago. Runs (roughly) but the battery needs to be replaced.
  6. If you are looking for a car, let me know. A few of those that posted know it well. Tinman even did the cage a few years ago.
  7. Not to split hairs but my understanding is that it is a joint event between MORPCA and MBCCA as it is listed as an official PCA event. I would've been there if I was not going to be in Pittsburgh for the weekend.
  8. Thank you for posting this when I have no cash to buy it Craig.
  9. I use a Logitech MOMO for GT5. While it works well, I have not been able to map any of the buttons specifically for navigation functions in GT5. The steering, gear shifts and pedals works by default. I just make sure I use a PS controller (must be assigned to controller 1) for navigation. Like Andy, I use a Playseat and that does make it a lot easier to play. I am also sure the Logitech MOMO's are fairly cheap these days.
  10. Interested. Call me. My phone number is in a PM I am sending to you.
  11. General info: Clean title 1992 Camaro RS equipped with a LO3 305ci (5.0l) running synthetics from when I first owned it. 700R4 still shifts very well. Fluid service done in the last 5,000 miles and no burnt or dark fluid that came out. Very clean car with little rust and a lot of highway miles (184,000 total) Stock 16" wheels with decent rubber on the front and long life (700 treadwear) rubber on the rear. T-tops, lexan original on the right, glass on the right. Generally leakfree except in carwashes and really heavy rain. Factory paint (looks decent enough) is Hawaiin Orchid (purple to the masses) At the last alignment I was told that the front end is still "tight" Mostly stock, but here are the changes: Open air filter (K&N 14x3") Jamex front strut tower brace The stock 10-bolt drum rear but I am including a 9-bolt disc brake rear from a 87 Formula with all new brake hardware. IROC front grill. The regular grill is also part of the package. Braided steel brake lines Hawk HPS front pads with fairly new rotors and bearings. Stock radio with a small Alpine amp, Polk speakers (older models) and a 10 disc CD shuttle. Stock replacement exhaust but a single exit cat-back comes with the car. New fuel (stock) pump. The old pump still worked, I am only did this as a preventative measure. Extra items for the car include a L98 (350ci) long block (no intake) in need of a refresh and various other spare parts. The bad things on the car: The headliner is starting to sag in a few places. I will most likely fix this before the sale. A few small rust spots on the bottom. The biggest of these is a small hole into the spare wheel compartment. All these got a coating of POR-15 and the hole was fixed. Price: $2,500 obo. Car is located in Central Ohio and I will deliver within a decent driving distance. http://home.earthlink.net/~mericet/Camaro/Side1.jpg It looks like the hood and fender is not lining up correctly. This is because I did not close the hood properly after taking the engine picture. http://home.earthlink.net/~mericet/Camaro/Front1.jpg http://home.earthlink.net/~mericet/Camaro/Rear1.jpg Rest of the pictures: HERE!! 12. True, they can. The fault description is not always right.
  13. From all accounts those are still a few years away. Right now they add too much weight to the engine.
  14. VANOS has been in use for a few years already.
  15. You might also want to check the length of a Turbo 350 tranny. If my memory serves me correct it might be shorter than what they used on 4th gens. If this is true you will either need a different driveshaft or a different tailpiece on the tranny.
  16. The things above is good advise to check first. A good to place to get more advise is www.thirdgen.org Try the V6 or General tech areas.

    lt1 swap

I suggest you also post at www.cofba.org for more info. I know on 3rdgen swaps you will also need to upgrade your front suspension. Not sure about 4thgens.
