Im pretty sure you joined the military voluntarily while we were at war with more than one piece of shit country. So what the fuck do you expect to happen? First off I wasn't crying just stating about the misdiagnose of PTSD. Second fuck off, this country wouldn't be here if it weren't for the military we would either be run by the British or be nazis.

I didn't join to think of being on "COD" not did I join when we were at war or to go to college.

I joined in 2002 to carry on family military history and fight for "my" country. I didn't need to join to pay for college as I passed up a full ride to Toledo.

Will do, have talked to other CR members before about what I go through. ie Killjoy, gergwheel, and Hwilli are great friends who are always there if I need to talk.

My issues are bad but I get through them. Sure, I have my moments but talking to friends and family help me deal with my problems. I do understand how some vets won't talk to people about their war time experiences but you have to keep reminding them that you are there for them so something like this doesn't happen.

I have no problem with military offering empathy towards each other. You're brothers and sisters why wouldnt you. But that person using PTSD as part of a defense did some criminal shit that warrants punishment and what about the trauma they caused their victims. The victims are who I think of first, ill worry about the criminals bullshit defense later.

 

How far will the empathy be carried when the victim is close to home.

I dont care if he use's it as his defense but I think the real reason for this article is to alert people about military PTSD, and how it is misdiagnosed. Ive had nightmares, flashback, have major anxiety problems and sleep issues, get nervous in big crowds, looking on the sides of the road and bridges while driving, constantly look for an exit when I go in building, and hate people standing behind me. And all the doctor told me when I went to the VA a few years ago was that he thought I had a drinking problem lol.

I think the friends and family of veterans just need to be a little more alert and watch for key signs so something like this guy doesnt happen to someone else.

The shit hat get me is that 70% or more of the vets that claim PTSD have never been outside the wire. The are admin or some other non-combat mos. Which means those of us who do have it have to wait in long lines at the Veterans Hospital just to talk to someone. People claim PTSD to get disability because they think its the easiest way to "rob" the government.

If you want to talk to someone and its your first time be prepared to wait 1-2 hours in the waiting room. Waiting there just makes you want to go even more crazy. Then they try and tell you that you have a drinking problem right away even if your a casual drinker. Shit is so funny I'd rather talk to friends about my issues then to someone there.

The 100 rounds was 115gr Remington JHP which I had bought 2 weeks prior for $100, at Bottom Dollar in Jeffersonville.
