Just gonna leave this here... http://www.elevenwarriors.com/college-football/2015/11/64335/unimpressed-michael-thomas-doesnt-know-why-alabama-is-ranked-no-2

Damn, just saw this question. Sorry for the wait on this one. Typically the relationship between the dollar and crude prices are inverse. Meaning that a strong dollar will bring the price of crude down some, and vice versa. All crude is traded on the dollar, but if you use something else for currency, then the exchange rate will essentially add either a premium or a discount when purchasing crude.

Barrett just made number 5 look silly on that cut.

I think Bosa may have just killed Rudock.

:lolguy: Brandon be losing his shit. Dude, what I'm saying is that I don't fucking care, and neither should any of the rest of you. We are all native English speakers, what does it fucking matter? Pushing for the .gov to make English "official" is just window dressing, and opens the door for shitty people to do shitty things just fucking cause. The .gov ALREADY works in English, so do all of the courts, the laws, yada yada. Why the fuck would you need a piece of legislation to "verify" that? What wagon would I have fallen off of? Lol, of course they were. And they may have displaced/wiped out some group of indigenous folks as well. I'm not naive enough to think it's a new story, nor do I think it's ever going to end. It's the nature of people to make their environment suit them, instead of vice versa.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/27/us/colorado-shooting-probe/index.html Dafuq is wrong with people, man?

Yeah, you would. Regardless of what the "official" language is. Going to be difficult if you communicate differently than the majority of folks you interact with, however, if you can get by without doing so, then more power to you. I'm not disagreeing with you in that English is the most commonly spoken language, and those that move here would do well to learn it, I am disagreeing that it needs to be "official". Why? So that we can more efficiently discriminate against folks who haven't been here that long? EDIT: Did you know that there are over 330 languages spoken by the folks of the USA, and that of those, something like 170 are INDIGENOUS to our country? That's crazy. Had no idea it was that high.

Oooo...clever meme contest? I'm in.

We are a nation of immigrants, refugees, and cast-offs, homie.

This weapon is not to be used on human targets. This is meant to be fired at "equipment". Like...helmets, and backpacks, and...

Yeah, of course. For fun it is. :-) I am not sure that I would agree that world demand for Oil is "down" so much, to be honest. As I said before, the Chinese are burning through it like gangbusters. Add in all of the unrest out there today, and frankly it's quite surprising that it's as low as it currently is (to me at least). So, NG is far less of a "global" commodity than oil. NG that we extract here is typically used here ("here" meaning "America"). Its use is far more prevalent in heating applications and power generation. As a result, NG prices are highly weather correlated. Oil, on the other hand, is used almost as a currency between nations. It rises and falls on fear, it gets stockpiled, it is used to back entire economies. The correlation between the two is mostly based on the fact that both come from the same wells in many cases. If you strike oil, you are gonna get some NG there as well. Marginal cost to produce, therefore, for either, is tied to both. I may have overstated the correlation between NG and Oil prices...it's probably more like .4 (or 40%). Were already at a place where folks are barely breaking even on oil production, however it continues, because these companies have balance sheets to fill out and letting something sit is never preferable to running it (Don't ask me to get into the details of that, high level math makes me go cross eyed). Still, unless peace breaks out between the nations in the middle east, I can't see it at $25. Warm/Short winter is exactly what is being modeled, and so far, the models have been dead on. We're already essentially through January when it comes to weather effecting NG prices this winter. It would have to turn very cold, very fast, to move NG prices up in a significant and sustainable way. Gun to my head, I would be long gold for the long term. However, if I were looking for a place to put money right now, it would be crude. The geopolitical risk is just too great to ignore.

I'm reading that it wasn't "shot down" so much as it was hit with a TOW while landed...not sure what it was on the ground for. Hitting a helicopter in the air with a TOW would take a fairly skilled operator. Not that it can't be done, just would be a damn good shot.

Seems to be some confusion on that. Turkey initially said it was an SAM, Russia claims it was Turkish F-16's.

I'm looking at the same info you are, I'm just betting the other way. Based upon the information I get working in the industry daily, I just don't see it getting to that point. Not within the next year or two, at least. Not enough pressure from other fuels sources to push it there. Additionally, NG is already at rock bottom. If the weather this winter up in the northeast were to get cold, you would see NG bounce, and that would pull the price of oil up as well. Shall we place a gentlemens wager? $50 says that (if we even remember in a year) the price of oil does not close below $35. We could do it on the daily close or the monthly, I'll let you pick. Not salty or anything, I live this stuff, so I enjoy having conversations like these.

While I agree with you, the REBELS in Turkey, I would think, don't give a damn about the Geneva Conventions. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/turkey/12013935/Who-are-the-Turkmen.html It's entirely possible that those very rebels were the targets of the Russian attack aircraft in the first place.
-
For us to hit $25 bucks, China would need to completely cease having children, building roads, and DRIVING, and Americans would have to stop altogether the use of anything that gets less than 30 MPG. $25 would be below marginal cost of production for for everyone not Saudi Arabia. It's not going to happen. FYI, current barrel prices are $43.13, and they have been wicked volatile for the past week or so. Getting to a $30 handle on Oil would wreck a lot of peoples days. We WERE at ~$39 for a few hours maybe a week and a half ago, and the market corrected quickly. Cal Strip for Oil right now is around ~$47.

Pilots are dead, homie. Turkmen rebels shot them as they were parachuting to the ground. Turkey is not exactly the most civilized of places right now.

No one wins a nuclear war. If you think that it wouldn't come to that, you're crazy.

Yeah dude, I get it. It doesn't change any of what was posted, however. Like I said, I'm not making excuses, just pointing some things out. I agree with Tilley, we HAVEN'T looked good all year. QB-geddon did actually do some serious harm to us this year, as well as the fact that we don't have any legit deep threats at WR (Thomas is badass, but he's more of a possession guy). I am hopeful that we can get hype for "the Game", and take out our frustrations on that team up north, but there is no chance we get into the playoff this year, and that's really ok.
-
This is true in more ways than you think. Just look at how many bowl games take place in "SEC territory". Hell, Florida even has it's own freaking bowl game (The Gator Bowl). The B1G has throughout history played the toughest bowl schedule of any conference. I'm not making excuses, I'm just pointing out some facts. If the B1G were to rise up and start winning the majority of it's bowl games with some regularity, I would see that truly as a resurgence. We did well as a conference last year, but now we need to show some consistency.
-
We earned that "L". Offensive coaching was terrible. Defense did everything it could, but when your O leaves you on the filed for like 45 minutes, you just get worn out. Everyone already knew Zeke was gone after this year. If I were him, I would be hella frustrated too. 15 straight 100 yard games, heisman contender, ONE FREAKING TOUCH IN THE SECOND HALF? That's fucking ridiculous.
-
Lol, nice save. Now we'll see how well you danced. Still, that's really great news. If you enter a job thinking that it may be too big for you, then you are taking the right job.

What you did there...I see it.
