  1. Lollerskates. I've said my piece on it, dude is a douche, by all accounts. The court of public opinion can do it's thing now.
  2. Bro, University of Nebrask-Omaha AD's opinions are worth not a goddamned thing. And, he didn't get THAT job till 09, up till then he was working as a web columnist for CSTV. He's not in our grill's on Saturdays anymore with his ignorance, and I am still willing to wager the ESPN job paid more. He WAS considered a rising star back in the day, now he's the AD of a school that, while solid acedemically, is no one that anyone has ever heard of athletically. Comedy Gold. The average High School senior in FLA has a GPA of 4.2, but the average ACT score in the state is 760.
  3. If you think he wasn't making that much or more working for ESPN, you are out of your mind. What I mean is that he was fired in a very public, very embarrassing way, killing his reputation as someone who can prvoide a viable opinion on sports.
  4. Valkyrie needs golf...badly.
  5. Alright, well, no sooner did I post this up then my dad calls and tells me he found a fourth. Mods, feel free to delete this. Thanks.
  6. Gents, I am looking for a fourth for a golf scramble this coming saturday @ Echo Springs. Cost is $75, and that pays for your round, all the beer you can drink, and a steak dinner in the clubhouse afterwards. Prizes will be up for the winning. Shotgun start is at noon this saturday, the 1st. PM me if interested and available.
  7. High and fast for rare steaks, low and slow for well done.
  8. Lol. Actually, we have always seemed to have quite a few mantids here at the house, and the past few years, I've kind of kept track of them. When they lay their eggs, they do it in a cocoon, usually right on a stick. They typically lay about 200 eggs at a time. So, last time the laid, I snagged a couple of the cocoon and transported them up to the garden. They will probably be hatching here this week, I would think.
  9. Animal control provided by the pack of German Shepherds being raised by Wendy's father. They roam the area pretty much at will, and the varmints stay away (they actually brought down a deer last season!). Bug control is handled a few ways; the aforementioned companion planting does a lot to keep the bugs at bay, and we have also placed several bird feeders around the garden to help bring them in. Also, we have brought in about 400 praying mantises and given them the rein of the garden. We plant marigolds throughout (bugs tend to stay away from them), and also, the placement of our onions, garlic, and hot peppers is meant to deter baddies from the more delicate plants. As a last resort, we will spray a neem oil/water mix, but we haven't had to do that so far. We seem to get TONS of spiders roaming the garden, as well.
  10. So, many of you know that I have become a pretty avid organic gardener over the past three years. Last year was our first year in a new space, and this year, I'm proud to unveil the work we have done at Wendigo Farms as of today. We spent quite a bit of time on ground prep this year. we covered the entire portion that you will see here with amazing black compost about a month ago, tilled it under, and then let it sit for a few weeks. The results have been amazing. All that you are about to see, except for the garlic patch, has been planted in the last two weeks... http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h23/lhiannonshee/IMG_20130526_171735_601_zps3d9408b2.jpg This is our "guerilla garden" area. Ostensibly an experiment by Wendy's dad, essentially this is an attempt to grow, at least a little, like mam nature does it. Very close together, we expect this will be just packed with life. Lots of bush beans, some tomatoes, onions, and others I don't even remember. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h23/lhiannonshee/IMG_20130526_171713_558_zps9d13a4d8.jpg This years pepper patch area. From right to left, potatos, onions, peppers, and asparagus. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h23/lhiannonshee/IMG_20130526_171627_855_zpsdd10958f.jpg From right to left; red garlic, white garlic, elephant garlic, beets. The garlic was planted in October of last year. Garlic does MUCH better when you grow it through a winter. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h23/lhiannonshee/IMG_20130526_171623_596_zpsb9e51881.jpg Tomatoes, red and white cabbage, and onions. Some of you may notice the stake amidst the cabbage. Those are also tomato plants. Nature doesn't ten to grown things in a segregated fashion, and neither do we. Many plants thrive when planted nigh on top of one another, tomatoes and cabbages get along like, well, peas and carrots. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h23/lhiannonshee/IMG_20130526_171435_382_zps1bb1ef66.jpg The whole of the north garden at Wendigo Farms. Plus a pic of my dad...for the ladies. Fell free to fire off any questions you may have. Happy gardening!
  11. And got exactly what he deserved. No one that I know, even amongst non-osu fans, has any respect for May.
  12. Someone buy this. This is an EXCELLENT case for anyone considering watercooling. BIGGU, have you listed this on overclockers club, or OC.net yet? Also, thats a nice looking rig you have there, sir. What are you going to put it into next? HAF?
  13. If you are rushing your grilling, you are doing it wrong. Bunch of amatuers in this bitch.
  14. Use charcoal you fucking pansies.
  15. Drove one a few years ago, was impressed. Would rock one, for sure. As far as turbo awd cars that don't look like ass go, it's a steal right now.
  16. Dafuq? Oh, wait, your other ride is a mustang. Carry on.
  17. Holy shit, does this mean an end to the near constant "should I buy this or that"? threads from Clay? There is a God!
  18. Yeah, reading the kitchen makes me feel that way sometimes.
  19. I thought your people, like mine, tended to shy away from the watersports? Not too many other people groups can claim to have crossed a sea sans boat and not even gotten wet. Either way, I'm with Brian.
  20. Yup, thats ghey. You and your damned triple post...started all of this nonsense. In CB and in here, Buck has put together a strong offering today.
  21. Chuckle. Remember back in the day when combatants were able to keep their retorts to one post at a fucking time? Fucking youngsters, feeling all entitled to multiple posts and shit. I blame Tilley.
