So we're going next weekend to Los Angeles next Friday. We'll have one day.. Saturday to do anything in LA. What would you do? It doesn't look like we're that far from Hollywood so that might be cool. Anyone who's been out there got any recommendations on what to do out there for a day? I don't want to spend barely any money. Sight seeing would be great. We're definatley going to check the ocean out (neither my wife or I have ever been to Cali to begin with). So what are some cool places to check out. Also.. food places. local stuff, no chain resturants (also cheap). ideas?

btw, my mother in-law is off work all week and lives in Westerville up off of Spring Rd. Just give me a call or a PM if you want to swing by and take a look at it.

Not sure. I know I asked a few years ago when I had my Lumina to have it towed and everyone said it would tow fine. It would need a hitch though. the hitch on the bumper isn't really good for much .

Here's some pics i took today. Took it to the ar wash real quick. A few other notes. It only has 73k miles (see pics). The brakes are brand new. Tires are pretty much brand new as well. It's pretty clean on the inside. Needs a small cleaning inside. It would also need an alignment as it pulls to the right. Truck looks really good for it's age. Not looking to sell this until the 2nd week or so of November or when I return back from CA with my other Regal I'm getting. Car can be sold as is or for a few hundread cheaper completely stock. 82k miles new front sway bar a/c works fine dual heated seats supercharged motor (of course) ran full synthetic since owning it the past two years I did have to replace the motor after I got it. Replaced it with a 50k mile motor (so right now I'm guessing has around 60k on the motor) $5,000. It's a great car and if I weren't getting a deal on the other Regal I'm getting I'd drive it forever. My mother in-law is considering selling the '94 F150 that her husband had (he passed away last year). around 80k miles Inline 6. 4.9 liter Dual gas tanks 8 ft long bed with a bed liner power windows/locks/ac/cruise new tires new battery standard cab Possibly wanted $2,000 out of it. That's about what KBB has it set as. Minor rust around the rear wheels. Dark Green in color. It's a decent truck that will go just about anywhere. She just doesn't need or drive it anymore and needs to pay off some bills.

He's taking it to the dealership on Monday to have it gone though, tires balanced, etc. That and the fact that him and I know these cars inside and out should help things out a bit.

Well everything looks good right now. My parents have a few points built up on their CC's for the Fairfield Inn (won't have to pay for a hotel) and it looks like we'll be stopping in Albequerque (sp), Somewhere in Missouri and then home. First two days would be 12 hour/800 mile drives, and the second 9 hour drive from Missouri to here. He's buying both my wife and I plane tickets out there. There are some parts I'm going to swap/ sell from his car to mine. The car has a $3k trans in it now which is the price of the car in itself. We're looking to leave on the 30th of this month, stay the night, leave Sunday and be back on Tuesday if everything goes as planned. The wife and I are pumped. We're going to try and stop at a few places on the way back from Diners Drive Ins and dives on Food TV. I saw a few places but we'll see.
