Sort of. THe 3.4 engine in there sucks and it's a mechanics nightmare. It looks like they just took a base model Z34 and threw some brickyard junk on there. Maybe it's worth a grand. It would probably work as a beater, but the first time something went wrong with it engine wise (anything engine wise), good luck.

Yeah, I did walk to school from 1-5th grade. Took all of 10 minutes or so. And Yes, I thikn i'm mentally tramatized by it too. It was all in the same subdivision. However, I didn't have to cross any state routes or big ass road (just main street in Westerville). And there always was a crossing guard there. For the comment made that let them get hit once. If you had children, and your son/daughter got hit by a car and died because some ass fucker either wasn't paying attention, or was drunk and went through a red light, what would you do? My buddy at work is getting stiffed at the dealer. He's got one of of the newer Cougars with a V6. Well, the serpentine belt broke and I guess he kept driving it? Not sure. Anyways. He had it towed to Dick Mashiter (sp) Ford and they're telling him $5700 for a new engine. They said that coolant got in the oil and that fuel got in the oil too? He may have spun a bearing.. I'm not sure. I'm guessing it's in need of a head gasket and a head possibly. He's going ot have it towed to his home I guess. Any of the techies here guesstimate how much you'll charge to do a head/gasket on a newer Cougar?

I just did this last Thursday. I peeled 6 potatos and the disposal said FUCK YOU! to me. I took off the elbow at the bottom and it was clogged nicely. Cleaned that and the dishwasher still does it.

thanks for the replies. It's proabbly about 4-5 years old. I got it from Lowes back then for around $300ish. I just don't want to pay some ass hat $50 to come out and tell me it's going to be $400 to fix a $300 dishwasher. I could put that towards a new one. I guess I"ll pull it out and see if the return hose thing that goes into the disposal is clogged up and go from there.
