I'm going to have to say no to that one Luap. It's his buddies who are persuading him to get the truck. He has this one friend who thinks he knows everything about cars. Hell, the kid is so smart he bought an electric supercharger for his Malibu. Yep. I didn't think most of you would understand as you don't have kids (or they're WAY not old enough to drive).. hence me not stating what he wanted to get. Hell. Maybe I'll sell all 3 of my cars and let him get the F-body that he was talking about getting the other week.

lol nope. Hell if it were a civic I might be up for that.. but it's not Edit - He also instantly thinks that getting a manual transmission will get him better gas mileage instantly.

Would you get rid of a $3000 car to drive a $500 car only because it's a manual transmission?

Looking to get some quotes to have my 25 year old A/C system upgraded in the house. The furnace is about 5-6 years old so that's fine. It was put in by Air Quest and Garrett but the last time I had called them it took him a few weeks to return my call. Anyone have any preferred installers? It's not broke at the moment but it's out of date and doesn't work that well.

Not too many people on here will flip $225 or $350 for a private rental.

I'm not too worried about college. . I was wondering when you were 18 or so and just go out of high school. I know you'll be wiser when you're in your 20's with money but what about when you just got out of HS? My son has approximately a grand from graduation and wants to blow it on something extremely stupid.. but it's his money..

Just a basic question. When you folks graduated high school (if you did).. and you had a party, etc. Got all kinds of cards and money from your friends/family, what did you end up doing with it? Blowing it on hookers? Strip club? buy a car? save it for school? Serious question though.
