Ah I see. One little section of the garage had a few 4x8 sheets of plywood for storage but nothing heavy was up there.

Nope. I don't know the details. I'm unsure if it'll go through her insurance or not. I have another beef with Able when he came out to give me a quote on my garage roof last week. That's another story. huh? Look at the pics. They had stripped the roof already, layed the paper down and then started to put the shingles on top.

Right now it looks like Able is going to fix it. Her insurance is out there too. They're waiting for another inspector or what not to come out and figure out how to tear it down. Able took some siding to match it up with the rest of the house and asked her what all was inside, if she had a door opener, etc.

There is no second floor on the garage. it was all open in the garage. No insulation either.

We're also checking to see if Westerville Building code checked off on the house. If Westerville said it was "ok" back in the 80's and signed off on it, then saying the structure was shit to begin with is pretty much irrelevant (for those who commented above).

I bought my Regal while it was in California. Had the buyer buy my wife and I two plane tickets and we drove the car back. 3 days, 12 hours, 800 miles a day. Stayed a hotel room each night (free since my parents had free nights at random hotels). It also helped that I've known him for a while from previous message boards. Basically just had to pay for gas and food. Much funner than having the car trailered.

The garage was built on there back in the mid 80's. It's been fine since then. The company was something like "mayo construction" or something along those lines. They are now out of business. I believe Able is checking with Westerville building code to see if Westerville checked off on the work back when it was done. Also. the roof on the house and the garage was replaced (well, added a 2nd layer) I want to say back in the early 2000's.

And this happened to the garage portion. I was hoping someone had seen this before. I had thought it was the turn signal switch but now I'm second guessing myself. I'm not sure how much more detail I can give you though. Shit just doesn't work I guess. I haven't looked at the car for more than 10 seconds. If you think it might be a ground I can start looking at that. If it might be something else (like the switch) I can have him replace that. Just looking for some ideas on where to start. I honestly don't feel like fucking with it. I'll probably tell him to go to a shop and have them look at it. I hate electrical issues let alone shit that isn't mine.

Now he said it was gradually. Over the past few months. Random things would stop working.

Now that I think about it.. best bet is to take them to a dry cleaner. Have them professionally done. Best not fuck them up any more than they are by putting off the shelf shit on them.

Why would you have sentimental clothes just hanging around in the garage? I dunno.. Maybe try Oxyclean? Billy Mays said it worked (didn't do shit to the red stain in my carpet though).

I've been using Zaino for at least 10 years now. I'm running out and I want to get something different. Looking to create the deepest black gloss I can. I'm not even sure what to get. I've seen Zaino, Chemical whatever, 22ple?, Porboys, etc. What have you had the best luck with on dark cars? I don't plan on using rubbing compound this year. I did it last year and got the swirl marks out. Just looking to create a deep gloss look and that'll seal it. Should I put a wax on at the end or just leave it with polish? I remember with Z2 That was all I used. Not sure how much things have changed in the last 10 years. Edit - I also have a White 3m pad along with a black 3m pad and a variable speed buffer/polisher.

Yesterday he said the dash lights went out, the abs randomly kicked in and the brake lights stopped working. The only thing that has been out for a while is the cruise control.

I also thought of a ground. He also just said the cruise control doesn't work either. Also the turn signals don't work .

So a guy at work says his .. brake lights don't work dash doesn't light up wipers don't work horn ABS randomly kicking in. a lot of other electrical crap. I'm going to be safe to assume it's the turn signal switch right? He is throwing a code but I don't think it has anything to do with the above.
