Thanks, Berto. The hardest thing about selling these kind of cars is that nobody can get financing for it, and with economy in this kind of shape, not many people want/have $20+k cash to pay for it.

My situation forces a quick sale, so the price is lowered to $22.5k FIRM. This is a downright steal. I've been away in Virginia but will be back in Ohio by next weekend.

BTW, I noticed I made a couple mistakes in the ad. The fuel lines has been heat wrapped for a while. Also, every interior part has been replaced with great condition black parts, except the rear bins and rear quarter panels. Bins have some very minor scratches, which can be touched up using any plastic paint.

Maybe this belongs in consumer reports section(all praises for Mead... haha. j/k), but congrats. Did you drop a bolt or a washer in the manifold or something?

Nah. I decided that I want something that I'm not gonna pour money into modding. I'm now motivated to sell, so make offers. Another update. I recently just got a set of Koni yellows(brand new), Tein H-tech springs(brand new), and a set of upper shock mounts in great condition. I decided to include everything (about $900 value brand new) to make the deal even sweeter. Tein H-techs + Koni yellows make a great dual-purpose setup. Combined with the Superpro bushing kit that I'm including, you'll basically have a brand new suspension setup. I am motivated to sell, so make offers, people. Also, the AC compressor was leaking a bit so it was replaced. The AC blows ice cold now.

it's all good. C5Z owner is in Chicago so I don't think he has seen this thread FD is a great car and like I've been saying all along, I have no problems with keeping it.

I'll be out of town until 9/20... I'll make it to one in October. BTW, the pillowballs are not that expensive. They are about $360~380ish from Ray @ Malloy Mazda.

I'm going with Koni Shocks and Tein H-techs. Looks like I'll also be replacing all the bushings including pillowballs at the same time. There goes another grand... haha.

Damn it, guys. The C5Z owner called the trade off. Oh well. Looks like I'll just stick with the FD unless I get a good enough offer on it. I just received all the suspension stuff that I bought yesterday, so I guess it's time to get to work again.

27~28 sounds good enough to me for an even trade. Man... it would be hard to let my car go. There is not another car like it. But Z06 will be more practical for my needs and will save me money from not spending as much money in mods. Some pics of the Z06. I recently got a trade offer for 02 Z06. Details given by the owner here: How much do you guys think that car is worth? I'm thinking about $26k. I figured I would trade, as Z06 will be easier to sell than my car. So if I don't like it, I can just sell it and get another car, but I certainly don't want to lose too much money in the process. Also, if you own/have owned one, tell me about it. I've never driven a Z06 but people who have owned them seemed to love it. Oh, and for those who ask why trade for a heavier car with the same engine... I just wanna get back into a newer car and wanna put a stop to spending too much money in modding the FD. I don't think I can ever stop putting money into the FD as long as I own it... Thanks in advance!
