Yea,when I was working for Mercedes just an oil change was $150.00.People would freak out but 10 qts of full synthetic can be costly then add in filter and labor.We sold an S500 engine (he hydrolocked it) and Mercedes list was $25,000.00!

I can't imagine pulling out a Mercedes V12 (if it was truly a "600") and putting in a Chevy van motor.I know the HP potential and cost of upgrades was in his/her mind,but still.When I worked for Mercedes we sold so many "600" and "V12" emblems for the people that had "300" and "500"s and wanted to upgrade!

Very rare and definitely not an ugly car when they came out but I'm an 80's guy.I remember seeing one in town out at Parr Medical Supplies all the time.There was an SVO there before that.

If I get good service they get a good tip.If I get poor service they are lucky to get a tip.As far a Pizza drivers go if I pay a delivery charge the driver does not get a tip.I think the driver should be paid well if the place is charging a delivery fee.If I don't pay a chrge the driver gets a couple of bucks or more depending on what I got and how quick they were.

I sprayed a 2.8 Fiero GT with an 80 shot for 50k mile with only 1 hiccup.(I replaced the plugs,intake tube and air filter) and expected it to blow but it never happened.I wanted to do a V8 swap.

That's how I like to sell big dollar items.I did sell some differentials from a 4runner to a guy in Washington the State for $500.00 plus freight.We used Paypal but I made some money on freight to make up the charge.He was fine with letting the charges go through and of course he signed for the packages when I shipped them UPS.That was about the limit,money wise,on what I would do in a transaction like that.Everything else in cash in hand.I had a guy ask me if he could make payments one time and I said yes 1 payment of the total amount.He didn't think it was funny but he got the point.

I knew a guy that got busted for doing that at a couple of Dealerships here in town.He was a nice guy just had a slight problem.He was a delivery driver at one of the Dealerships I worked for and we played basketball a few times until he got busted.

I doubt it he always has tons of work.He has done some work for my parents and does a very good job.I met him a few times and he has an GTO (66 or 67) that wins a bunch of shows around town.My parents were actually going to take their Camaro Cvt over to drop it off for some work on the top but the alt. took a crap.

I remember in 88 or 89 running into one of those in Indy with IROC rims and the GN motor in it.I liked it better than that.
