Come to circuit city on polaris and ill give you a deal, i work in the t.v.s and know more then i shuold.
As far as plasma, burn in is extremely rare now in 4th generations. Now as far as LCDS for the money they are not worth it yet, the pixels burn OUT in those as well. The half of the plasma gas is not that bad, they project about 40-50 thousand hours of veiwing now, with select companys saying 60k. The down fault to both; and once a pixel goes out on either, the whole thing needs replaced, you cant repair the screens. Onto rear and front projections, DLP is nice, but right now, in no way shape or form better then LCD projection. The idea of advanceing the chips inside of the DLPS is neat, but then again its not a car, and when a newer chip comes out you cant just upgrade. But with all of these DLPS and LCD projection tvs you still have to replace a 300 dollar bulb about every three to four years ( the bulbs are halogen bulbs filled with argon ). If anyone has any type of question i gaurentee i can answer it ( well 90% sure ).
Bye the way this is brandon, not marc, aka B on here, pm with any questions.
Also what t.v is that, panasonic??
