Im new here but why the fuck wouldnt you give up this info in the original for sale post?

I started it up yesturday no problem, it smokes. Coolant looks a little dirty but the headgasket that was in it, i found out wasn't an hks mhg or toyota hg. Has arp bolts in it but other then that, its best to change to a mhg & studs.
As far as engine problems there isn't anyway, other then it won't boost over 6psi and the v band is leaking exhaust at the turbo.

Hasn't been to the track or on a dyno, its still boosting under 10psi. The vac lines to the wastegate might be backward or it has a boost leak i haven't found.

Wow, seems like a lot of car for 5k.This is true, but how many 89 white packages do you find under 100k, that hasn't been beat to shit. Truthfully its obo, i forgot to add that as i was in a rush. Hell i've seen a supra sell for 4500 with less mods, in worse condition and more miles. This car needs an HKS MHG

As the title says, i'm looking for a car under or a little above a grand. I'd like to find a 4 door, something good on gas. Hell I'd be cool with a 4 door accord. Anyway, let me know what ya got, send pictures and info to (419) six-ten fifteen eighty one.

Currently has a high idle, it runs but idles high and wont let you rev up so it would have to be towed but could be drivin onto a trailer assuming I don't send out the ecu to Driftmotion before purchase. So it will needed to tow. Reason I am selling is because I just lost intrest. I am open to trades, trades plus cash or just cash. NO automatics or bikes or truck or suv and no domestics. Has the usual rust inside the door jams, but other then that, its starting to surface rust on the bottom. I passes compression test, i don't remember the numbers right off top of head but i'm pretty sure it was 135 on a dying battery and it was cold out (snowed the day before).
Called both numbers, no answer on either one. I'll send you guys a pm and we can get into details from there. I have no problem with working on shipping, altho i'm not even sure where to start. I kno if you have a truck, you can always rent a car dolly

I have some questions, How bad is the oil leak? acouple drops a day? How long possibly have you drove it and is the surge at high rpm or idle or low rpm? Thanks
Pretty bad, I haven't really driven it that far to be honest. I bought the car and paid way to much for it, the idle surge is in the lower rpms. I might just be boost leaks, as I was getting readings from the ISC with a datalogger.

Its a white 91 tsi with 188k on the body, has 5k on a rebuild (so i was told), with a (ebay) 16g turbo, 550cc injectors, walbro 255, 17" wheels with newer tires and a full exhaust. Ran and drove good but needs a little bit of work. It has a surge, which could be boost leaks. It will need a starter, and has an oil leak coming from the lower timing cover, those are the two problems I know for a fact it has. Everyone that's looked at the car, claims it has a bigger clutch in it, truthfully, I don't know. I know that either the cables or rod under the dash needs adjusted as it goes into gear, but its a hair short from not being all the way in gear without grinding.
The only reason I wanna get rid of it is because I don't have anywhere to work on it and really should have just stuck with a toyota rather then tryin mitsu out. But its time to move on, I'm just simply "over" this car
I'll take trades or cash for the car, I have $1800 in it as is. I would love to get that back out of it but really I just wanna sell this and or trade. Be reasonable in an offer or trade, if we trade, I'd like to have a 5 speed, turbo... but I'm not gonna stress the turbo, but i'd deff be a deal breaker, depending on make & model lol

Before I forget, it does run and drives but it'd be best to bring a trailor to put it on. Motor checks out and is in decent running shape, its just the oil leak that I'm not a huge fan of. The windshield has a crack in it, but its on the passanger side. There is 2 rust holes but only in the door jams while the underbody is just now starting to show surface rust. Umm.. I think thats about it, just let me know what your wanting to trade or if you wanna come down and look at it.

Sprayed primer black, actually painted to match the rest of the car no. The prev. owner decided that he wanted to shave the trim, I am in no way a huge fan of that on these cars. So thats why its primered

The 7m has a 6m crank, the bearings, rings and all that good stuff was replaced.

The motor was rebuilt by my uncle, he works at the import doctor

I'm selling my 89 Supra,
As of right now it doesn't run. The engine is sitting in the garage, I pulled the motor because it began to knock. New motor has 0 miles was just rebuilt (oem rebuild), 1.2mm hks metal head gasket, arp head studs with all new gaskets. The supra has a full 3 inch exhaust, downpipe, Lexus afm and eibach lowering springs that haven't been installed yet.
The targa top doesn't leak, and even if it begins to, I have new oem seals for it. I have a garage full of parts to go along with the supra, extra door, targa, hatch, front bumper, ect, ect. The interior isn't in the car, it has a driver seat and a dash and center console which are red. I have a complete set of interior for the supra, dash included which are tan, you can have that too lol
