I would say the car is worth every bit of that. Unmolested fox bodies are nearly impossible to find and most of them are going for more then $9000. I say buy if he really wants a clean one.
Sorry, I got my days confused I thought everyone was referring to what happened when it was there. I was actually hoping to see it last week to see it make a full pass, car looks pretty sick. Anyway, I never said anything on here about the car blowing up, I just stated I saw it there that is all.

98 GT ported pi heads, comp cams, 4.10's and long-tubes
I got rid of it because it had 89000 miles on it. If it wouldn't have be so high I would still have it. I don't really miss it that much now that this car runs the same, besides its nice to have something different the seats in this thing kick ass.
I went back to edgewater today and ran a new personal best. The car went 12.87@109.87 on its fourth pass and 12.98@110.15 on its 5th. I have 5 12second timeslips from today so I'm pretty happy. I'm glad I spent the money and had Brian Turner at dynotune tune it, He did a hell of a job.
I went to Edgewater and made couple passes in the GTO before it started raining. First pass was a 13.03@108.65 with a 2.02 60'. The second pass it went 13.06@108.66 with a 2.06 60'. I was on street tires and had 3940# race weight. My mods are off-road pipes, K&N FIPK, and a tune from dynotune.
I"ll gladly take you up in the track rental offer. I'm at the track all the time in the summer. As far as the those other dyno shops, I've talked to the owner of Precision a couple of times at the track. I guarantee a 12 sec pass the way the car sits.
I will gladly pay for your gas for you to come down here and watch the car get dynoed again. How is this so unbelieveable when another guy on buckeye goats with just catless mids and no tune put down 321hp 333tq in the middle of July.
Call all the BS you want I was questioned by other GTO owners down at KilKare last year when the car went 13.35@ 103.50 in 85 degree heat. The car feels alot different now so I believe the numbers.
