+1 I agree I think its smart to keep them in nice shape but just to buy it and park it what's the point.

Cobra was mid 90's in the MPH range. Guess they all run that, right??? And WTF does the GTO being a NICER car than the Mustang have to do w/ it's looks? I don't recall mentioning its looks anywhere. Oh well you proved me wrong want a cookie? As for the GTO be nicer well looks have something to do with that. So here I clearify yes I thing my Mustang is nicer then the GTO. I'm tired of arguing onto the next thread.

I can possibly argue this point what was his mph that shows power. ET shows driving ability granted you'll lose some mph not knowing how to drive but 10 come on. Oh and yes I do think the Mach 1 looks alot better then a GTO so I guess I am dillusional, at least mine was built in the states. As for the person that said 94MPH is good for mid 13's maybe on a bike or a 2000lb car.

Driver could not kill that car that badly. I've cut 2.4 60's in my Mach and still have been in the 13's. GTO's are not that fast. Car Craft took one 14.00. I've read other articles where they have gone the same as the one I saw. As for the Mach's being all slow whatever the slowest I've seen out of about 10 now run has been a 13.80@101 and that was an auto. The GTO's are a joke for $33,000.

Most the articles I've other magazines besides MT haven't gotten them any faster. I think there overrated.

Saw a new GTO run last night at trails for the first time and I wasn't impressed. The pass I ran him I had about 5 car lengths on him in second and probably 15+ in the 1/4. The car ran consistant 15.00's at 94MPH far from the 13.50's @ 104 MT got it to run. I know the driver had alot to do with it but I still think it was far from a 13 sec car.

That's why I'm always driving.

I believe they will do that. Mine bone stock went 13.23@107.93 on radials with a 2.02 60'. Now with an an x-pipe, flowmasters and the headlight pulled (more air into the airbox) I went 13.00@109.93 with a 2.05 60' on stock gatorbacks. So if you still have doubts come run me, I'd be glad to show you what a basically stock mach can do.

The exhaust sounded nice, sounded just like mine x-pipe and flowmasters.

Like I said, drivers make a huge difference. If you don't believe me, that is too bad. His car did go a 13.18 with nothing done. My good friend qwk 90 gt has a mach with off road pipe and mufflers and it went almost 110. Oh, and he is the driver that comes close to "stock lx", if not the same ability. If you don't believe ride with one. Oh, and I am the one that has the black gt that hosed your car off of taylor station a few years ago. I almost forgot, the 110 pass was on 245/45/17 goodyears. I guess factory radials don't matter when the driver has a f*cking clue. [/QB] You forgot about the 1.9960' on stock goodyears.

Should be easy up there with the mods you have. I heard the exhaust and saw the drag radials, did you change gears also.

It DID go a 13.18 stock.

If you haven't touched the car the warranty shouldn't be void. The guy with the yellow mach 1 on here had his fixed under warranty.

I wouldn't waste your money on a t-5 buy a tremec instead. Also you probably already know but make sure you buy the headers and h-pipe for a 94-95 not an older one. The driveshaft might be different too not sure but something you might want to check on.
