Its a BMW so its built very well and is a safe and nice place to be 99 % of the time in traffic, at this point its has devalued enough so its not a factor. She will like it because of the reasons above and could give a crap about horsepower. The only minus is the maintenance,but you can wrench so not a deal breaker honestly,I say get it.
