  1. I'd let my 96 Tbird sport slide for $5000 if you promised to be nice to it. Contact me for details/mods.
  2. Post your most frustrating fastener stories here, get it off your chest. graemlins/doh.gif I am currently locked in a battle with what is the toughest bolt/nut I have ever encountered. Its a 24mm bastard, one of two holding the lower left control arm to a Mark 8 rear end I just bought. Using a 9000 lb forklift (had the assy shipped to work in the first place) to hold the assembly in place, and using a 48" cheater on my craftsman 12 point combination wrench, I cannot get the bitch to budge. The bolt on the other side came right out, but this one will.not.move. Regretfully, I have given up on winning this war by honnorable means, and will cut the bitch tomarrow. I remember in highschool, on a weight machine that functioned very similar to the way I was pushing on the this breaker bar, I maxed it out at 800 lbs. I am putting at least 2500 lb ft, possibly 3200+, on this steadily and its not fucking moving. graemlins/doh.gif
  3. luckily, that crap isn't too bad, and can fairly easily be fixed. Good thing he didnt discover the magic of puddy.
  4. nah, most people dont like forms of sport that require them to know stuff. tongue.gif

  6. is that supposed to be satire? the fewer the better We'd like to keep the moon at the same distance and speed its at right now, dont wanna upset it.
  7. special packages and such usualy have wheel, trim, and badging combos. Look for consistencies, like bigger wheels, painted trim as apposed to black plastic, dual exit exhaust instead of single, etc.
  8. this suck bad. Those teams need engines. They may be bckmrkers, but F1 needs them. Jordn did better with Honda anyways.

  11. been doing it for a decade, remember "the intimidtor" Z34 Luminas?
  12. It would probbly be less then a mile wide, and not smooth and even, so not with the nekkit eye. It'd be like a frozen lake
  13. I know some people who would dissagree http://www.laserdisken.dk/billeder/forsidealm/102823066169900003.jpg this has been todays OMFG I can't beleive he posted that! LOLLERZ post, thank you for your patronage.
  14. Nuke as in Destroy? Catastrophic tidal waves, meteor showers of apocalyptic proportions, cataclysmic climate shifts, no more steady calendar, earth would spin off orbit and into the sun, dark nights. Lobbing an old 1950's weapon of relatively low yield at the moon? Not much, a glass coated hole, and a circular smoothy spot, and radiation...like the moon doesn't have any of that. It would be a visible detonation, if done in the dark side of the waxing or waning moon, but the crater would not be visible or necessarily distinguishable from any other on the moon. Why? No air, A bombs are augmented by the forces of displaced and super heated air. If you don't have that, you have a seismic concussion, a flash of light and head, and short lived shock wave. The plume though, that would be something to behold. Its not at all impossible for debris to reach escape velocity. Rockets weren't reliable enough though, not wortht he risk of it filing and falling back to earth. Carl Segan, one of the great minds of our time, R.I.P.
  15. http://akanedomain.kuroi-hoshi.org/innocence_gits2_aff.jpg Ghost in the Shell II: Innocence The first one kicked ass, and the sequel is playing at the Lennox this saturday. Anyone going?
  16. Hope ya dont have the Hepa'gonna'herpa'ceffilla'clapa'drip like her, either. tongue.gif Welocome to the board. smile.gif
  17. Tell me, how low can you go on payments? I need to liquidate the Tbird (est $4k low, 5k high) and pay off the remaining $1300 on the loan, and keep the payments on the C32 below $300 a month. BTW, I'm not even kidding, I want that car, what cn ya do to help me out?. Mercedes owes me that car because I will drive it the way those Krauts intended. On that note, what can you give me in the way of extended warrauntees? If that wont fly, what else do you guys have at your disposal? I'll be in the market for a new DD in spring, but if the right car and deal comes along, I'll enter the market sooner. I require RWD nd a manual transmission. How about an early/mid 90s SL600 or 500? you are right, because in the corral, it would get deleted because it's in the general section instead of classifieds Last time I checked your allowed posting opinion in the general section I'm sorry for ruining the sales thread. If comment wasn't invited it shouldn't be here. that is correct, Posting an ad here leaves it open to all kinds of silly and ignint banter. tongue.gif
  18. volvo's, you can get about 5 late 80s good running Volvos for $5g, or one realy nice one.

  21. Idle Air control. Controls the amout of air that makes it past the throttle body when the car is stopped. lift off the gas, the throttle plate closes. The IAC lets air bypass it to keep the car running. If its not working the car will stall when you lift off the gas and stop.
