  1. You've almost got on the bumps off that thingy, get them all and I'll take it.
  2. What it probably is; Cheap tire buyers are more vocal than people who buy decent ones. I was ready to go for yours this weekend, but ya didn't return my call. My hoops aren't safe and I needed to be sure that I got a set for Mid Ohio, so I pulled the trigger on these. I got two of the Sumi's in 255/45 and two of the RE-01 Rs in 245/45. Considering that these will also be my HPDE rain set, I probably should have gotten 4 of the Sumi's. I'm not sure how the RE-01 R will do on the front in the wet.
  3. Are all the stories crappy, or just a few?
  4. Those things are still transacted? lol Where do you work?
  5. I want to take it to Mid Ohio for some lunch parade laps on April 11 (saturday). Photo's and possible in-car camera footage as payment. It's the biggest car that I can think of that isn't a limo.
  6. ... he was watching this: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/756433/laser_flashlight_hack/ I think I'd rather replace the lotion and paper towels at an accelerated rate, than settle lawsuits or replace a smoldering house. That said, I want one.
  7. Managed to find a solid hit on the ground based stuff http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.php?products_id=323 6/32 thread is just a hair smaller than .135", these are perfect.... don suppose you could get me half a dozen?
  8. I'm hunting a rod end that will fit a .135" wire/shaft. I figure the model aircraft industry is the best bet, but there's a hell of a lot to go through. Anyone have any leads? It's actualy needed to slip over the legs of a torsion spring to make it work as a compression spring. Thanks in advance
  9. Well, that's bead, because it's already had the tabs welded. It does have a lakewood skattershield instead of the aluminum bell housing, but I couldn't tell you if it was a "universal" housing or not, bought it all second-hand.
  10. This sentence is a cruel tease because it's missing the word(s) that would make it make sense. or Which one?
  11. I know gun grabbing liberals who could have made that shot. Classic... but disappointing that the poster doesn't know what an F1 car looks like.
  12. Early 90s 5.0 and <98 4.6 DOHC? I'm finding that some of the modulars are compatible with the 5.0's, but not all, and the break is a fuzzy line across the internets. I'm wondering what else my TKO will fit in.
  13. Lets try driving our multi-million dollar car with a phone.

  15. Rental trucks, hope they got the additional insurance.
  16. Thunderbird/Cougar/MarkVIII/Taurus/Volvo bolt pattern. I've had these for ages, and have finaly got parts for a mustang hub swap. I have no need for them now. Rims are flawless in terms of shape and balance. They are painted black, and though they look good 20ft away, they have some chips. Will include some (heavily) used 245/40/17 tires in with the set. Actually, I have a pair 225 wide Continental Sport contacts in much better shape, yours with purchase if you want them. Also have some old used R componds that fit them too, don't need them anymore. So, what you can have: 4 wheels 4 beat Hankook Ventus V4 ES street tires 2 decent Continental Sport Contact street tires 4 beat road racing tires; 2 Victoracers and 2 Goodyear Eagle GS CS. Clean out my garage for $600 OBO http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/5201/wheels.jpg You can see they're chipped. Happens, these were racing wheels. One wheel has slightly different inside Radii on the spokes because it is a new rim, which replaced one that had been curbed. Its only cosmetic and no one ever noticed unless the wheels were placed side-by-side. On the car, you cant tell.

  18. Trying to find the history and origins of the family rifle: "Ranger Model 35" Found a couple references and visuals on gunbroker: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=123868403 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=124122757 It's in better shape than both of those. I've found speculation that it's a Savage Arms 52B, made between '33 and '37, for distribution through Sear n Roebuck catalogs as a Ranger.... but nothing confirmed.
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=is-HVxmUELQ&feature=featured Gave me an idea: Hand held printer head with roller, so you can print on walls..... other peoples walls. The bulk of a printers size is paper storage and movement.
  20. I have yet to find anything, what have you got?
  21. Old M-O goodness and a song I forgot I liked.
  22. Anyone have any laying around? Anyone able to run to Research Alloys (not open weekends)? I need to make 4 plates, 24" long and 12+ inches wide.
