My dad has a 1996 dodge intrepid that he has owned since it was new back in 1996. it has really high miles like 300k+ and the tranny is out, but other than that this car is in really good condition and has the 3.3L motor in it. junkyard has offered me $150 for it, so i figured i would put it up here and see what i could get out of it. scrap a car. I got a 1996 dodge intrepid with 300k miles and a tranny that won't shift, was told it would be 2k to replace the tranny or 1k to have it rebuilt. decided to just buy a new car so now we are looking to get as much out of it as possible. let me know what scrap yard to take it to, and how much you think they will offer. tried a junkyard and they said $100.
