I am building a new truck 01 Silverado ext cab that started as a 2wd and im making it a 4x4 with a 1 ton straight axle swap. This will be a toy/winter vehicle, I have a 96 K1500 with 7" of lift for my daily, my Trans Am and a busa so i want a truck that i can beat on. Cummins 12v or 24v and why? 6sp or auto and which one do i get? I thought about keeping it on 33's or 35's but then again i wouldnt mind having another big truck on 44's like i had in school.

Im glad she is ok. I would say i cant imagine what you are going through but my Son was bite in the face by a dog four days before Easter. Chase had to have stitches and my kids mother never even called to tell me until 4 days later. I was beyond mad. Just enjoy everyday with your kids because you never know what can happen tomorrow.

Im starting on the car again after letting it sit for a year without driving it. 1) Im swaping my t-56 for a th400, to make it a more consistant bracket car. I dropped off a th400 to my trans guy for a complete rebuild with a pro-tree brake and i ordered a 4000 coan convertor. 2) I sold my ported LS6 intake and 80mm tb to make way for a victor jr setup 3) I will be started the plumbing for the turbo as soon as the trans is back in the car
