Wish I could have been there! About a week before the F-body dyno day I raced a Cobra down 71s and when I let out it sounded like I ran over some metal.The car still drove OK so I didnt worry about it.After we made 4 pulls on saturday it didnt feel right,so i put it on a rack at work and it had a hole the size of a quarter in my bellhousing where part of the pressure plate broke off and went thru the bellhousing!so much for the SPEC stage3 time for an auto this time.

Sorry to hear about the car, at least someone saw it happen and stoped her!

There is a small car show at Redeemer's Church today from 9am-3pm. I was there last year and it wasn't a real big show,they had some muscle cars,some imports,antiques,4x4's some were show cars and some everyday cars.They serve a spaghetti dinner and have something for kids to keep busy. 395 N.Sunbury rd. Westerville, Ohio its about a 3/4mi. north of Hoover Dam. registration is $5 ,three trophies per class, feel free to stop over or show yor car,truck etc. I wont be there until about 10:30ish info:614-891-9517

I was at work listening to Howard Stern at work.I put down my tools(mechanic) and went up front to watch it on the news,called all of my family and friends. I'll never forget that day! The wife and I went to New York about a year later,there were still windows broken out of buildings you could see the impact it had made on the hole city. All the people that died that were just working doing their everyday jobs. The fireman and police had to know that the Towers were going to fall but they went in anyways (HEROES)! Not to forget about the plane in PA and the Pentagon. I have some pics somewhere from my trip to NY,if I can find them I'll post them.
