  1. Biggu, that's a good possibility of wheels in those specs. I'm sure we will have something close to that.

Smokey, that's tough on the SSR's. Pairs do pop up but infrequently. I'll keep my eye out for sure.

  2. A customer told me they read about 4thUp on Columbus racing and here it is! Weird. Anyways, as the terrible website says, click on the link for our eBay store. That's where we list everything. After lots of testing and trials, we sell much more through eBay than through our own website so we no longer double list things and stick to only eBay. Just easier and faster that way.

And we are completely an Internet based business. 99.999999% of sales not in person. There is very little car scene in NV. Originally I'm from Cbus and decided to move back and bring the biz with me. So far it's been a great move and I'm real happy for be back in Ohio.

  3. I assume he means the Evo 10 since the Golf R is a newer model and not the R32. In that case I would still suggest the Evo 10. haha. Its really nice inside now and not just a pumped up Lancer. It has options like cruise control, navi, etc. There is also a larg tuning market for it despite it being a different motor if that's what you are in to.

On looks alone, IMO Evo 10 plus wheels looks fantastic. Very aggressive almost muscle car like. The Golf R doesn't give me that same feel.

I used to have an Evo 9 MR and it was awesome but not actually nice inside like the new ones. Just basic.

  4. You can also call the bank and confirm funds. I have accepted checks for some auto purchases before and always hold the title and mail it to them if it clears. Always has for me though.

I sold a Tesla for a client like this one time. Met him 250 miles away and got a copy of the check first. I called the bank and gave them the check number etc. and they verified it. They were super nice and quick about it too.

  5. A-FUCKING-GREED

Old people LOVE putting labels on things without EVER actually doing something.

Its funny, I am 30... and I interview people who are older than me who are unemployed because they think the "job market" is bad. Well, if I were unemployed I would do whatever it took to solve that problem in less than 2 weeks and get any job (even if only temporary) as opposed to being picky. In fact, I think old people are slow to act and slow to change their minds. Younger people (the right ones) are thirsty for knowledge and experience and tend to be accepting of new ideas.

I think greg is right... it all depends on who you associate with and/or view as your sample group.

While all the lazy/analytical 40-somethings cant find jobs..... the company I lead grew 624% in the past 3 years....

My generation's greatest weakness is that we are too bold and quick to make decisions and act..... I think that is also our greatest strength.

This says it all. Every older generation has no hope for the younger generation yet things move forward and change happens and wealth continues to grow. Maybe it's not the change the other generation wanted or even cared about but the world moves forward. Everyone regardless of age needs to just freaking try these days. Everyone is so much happier being comfortable where they are... bc that works so well every time. lol

  6. It's just all the regulations, management crap, US regulations, etc. that these completely new cars have to go through on top of making a new Godzilla fighter form scratch. It sucks. I'm sure a Supra will happen some day. I just have no hopes of seeing it soon. It really sucks that inovation is stunted by everything that happens.

Maybe they have been secretive and doing this in the background for a while (doubtful) but that's the only way it's going to happen sooner. They need to go toe-to-toe with the GTR if they want a sports car presence again.

  7. Supra rumors have been going on for ever and ever and ever. I doubt any of that will really make it into the production model IF there ever is a real production model. Every few years another concept comes out and the internet dubs it the "NEXT" supra. Yea right. Even if this is semi-legit, think of how long it took for the FR-S to actually become a real car that people can by and drive? We are looking at 6+ years from now for this to become a reality. So don't anyone get all excited yet.
  8. I'd rock it. But I'm not sure if I would purchase it and install it. But if it was given to me then o hell yes! Superchargers are fun but I can see this easily turning into the age old debate of Turbo vs SC. It always comes down to many cylinders want SC and lesser cylinders want Turbos. Or at least the people that drive them.

But on that note, SC on a torquey suby box? That's a damn good combo.

  9. Honda MB5. 50cc 2 stroke 4speed. Can get bigger kits and easily go 65+. Plus they are hella fun. If you like sketchy then an old Puch scooter will do the trick just fine if you know what you are doing w/ 70cc kit, stuffed crank, pipe, carb, jet, intake, port and new brakes. Als shoudl throw on a brace too bc they were only made for 35 mph. Pretty much all the old 50cc scooters and mopeds are too difficult to get to 55.
