  1. That Cream Dream is unreal. Def my favorite sleeper I've seen in a long while.
  2. The 48 is badass! Def my favorite HD they make today. Don't listen to people about acceleration blah blah. HD bikes and this style are completely different than sport bikes that go 200mph. These just look super badass.
  3. It could limit the top speed except if you do a 17 inch wheel you will most likely have a lower profile tire. With a 14 you will probably go with a thicker sidewall and the overall diameter of both wheels will probably be a lot closer in size than you think. Plus peole with 14's can go over 80. lol. Limiting the top speed with wheels is like going 130 instead of 138 maybe. Then it really depends on your car's top speed. But all was saying is purely performance based. Not really the other 50%+ of choosing wheels which is personal taste and style. My old G35 coupe had 19x10.5 in the rear with +15 offset and stretched tires. None of that is performance. It was a low and slow / hard parking kind of car. So it's hard if you want to balance the two: Form and Function. Gotta figure it out for yourself.
  4. Yep. The whole unsprung weight and overall weight of the wheel. It's easier for the car to run 14 inch wheels than 17 basically. Think of it like a huge fan and a tiny one. It takes a lot more energy to spin the blades on the larger ones and those tips have to move much faster thus using more energy than the fan with shorter blades. By shorter and larger I mean close to the center or more far away like the spokes and ultimately outer rim of the wheel. Then obviously weight comes into play because it's easier to spin a lighter weight than something heavier.
  5. First gen 9-3 turbo is a Saab motor. GM used the Saab technology after that in a bunch of different cars. The later gen Saab 9-3 that's def not 3k used GM ish engines but not mod friendly. Just motors for daily use really. Everything CAN be modded for power but these just require more $$
  6. Like someone else said, Enkei RPF1's are your best chance as small, lightweight, affordable and IMO good looking in a variety of sizes and lug patterns. Now buy them and get sticky wide tires.
  7. If you want best performing and set on 10 out back and 9 up front then get the smallest diameter you can find. Generally these are the lightest (except when you get into forged centers and different materials which + $$$$). The rest of it is up to the tires. So if you can fit 14's over your brakes and have clearance then get get 14x10 out back 14x9 up front. Maximum performance. Everything else is personal choice.
  8. ps- I had Saab 9-3 Viggen (the "fast"ish one) it was super fun but pretty much everything costs $$$$$ to fix. Sucks because it's a fun car and mine had 4 doors and a hatch so it was practical. Until all the litttle broken things add up....
  9. For 3k get a reliable daily and then start saving / dumping money in to a project car with whatever domestic / tunerish v8 / large / small / truck / rocket propulsion car you can build.
  10. I was thinking the same. ps- I live in the SF Bay and it's not big out here. California is not the same as movies. Not for real. Just a bunch of hipsters holding them outside 7/11. There are no hills to board down that aren't grid locked with traffic at all hours of the day if you wanted too. lol
  11. wow. so many angry words in 3 short sentences... however IF it sells, it will be to some dumb kid like you are describing that has no idea what kind of work it takes to build a car. I hope that happens hahaha
  12. Thanks for all the fast replies. I scheduled time at Sweet Baby Octane. They were real cool about me being in Cali and working with me. I'm pretty excited.
  13. Is that this place? http://www.highstreettattoo.com/
  14. Yea, I really would take suggestions of anywhere in Columbus if there's somewhere better that people like. Yelp sucks for Columbus so I'm having a hard time.
  15. So I'm coming back to Ohio for xmas (I live in Silicone Valley now) and my Dad, my wife and I are going to get tattoo's together. Not matching, lol. He's been wanting one for a while and always says he will only go with me. My wife and I have tattoos and love them so I'm pretty excited. He lives in New Albany and I was wondering if there are any good shops around there or Gahanna? I'm pretty removed from Columbus so any other suggestions of a good place that preferably have a few good artists on hand so we can get them done at the same time. Obviously I'm gunna call them and set up appointments ahead of time to make sure we have time blocked off. Thanks!
  16. That's it? This can't be Bob actually. It has to be a weak sauce impostor posting under his name....
  17. I think you meant to post this on OhioDrifting. This is Columbus Racing. You know, V8 stuff. Muscle cars don't generally rock coilovers.... or shocks for that matter But I think there used to be an off road shop northern Cbus like up 23 somewhere. I can't remember the name but they always had big lifted diesels and things on 2 shocks per wheel combo and those crazy offroad coilovers. But really the only thing that needs to be serviced is the shock. So I would assume any place that rebuilds shocks should be able to help you out.
  18. Hey, my bro-in law is looking for a new DD that's funish (b series honda basically). Is there anything at all that would make this thing not daily driveable or any minor (or major) things that need to be taken care of?
  19. Hey, I have a 97 civic coupe and need a hood ,radiator and headlights for it. I know you got a radiator collecting dust so let me take it off your hands. As for the hood, the car is white so ideally I'd like the same but if its a good price, I can deal with the mismatch color for now. And I also need a set of headlights. Foggy doesnt really matter. I can clean them up but I dont want any crappy aftermarket ones. OEM Honda only please. And I'm looking for this stuff asap so if you need a couple extra bucks, I'm here for you. Thanks
  20. Wow, the shotgun shells at the end were super crazy looking. Like a bunch of jets storming somewhere
  21. MPG's are the only rewarding aspect of this car. Luckily they put in a decent price range. Everything else is garbage. Why won't people realize that a 6 speed (now NOT uncommon) and a turbo (seriously 1.4 liter?) don't make it an instant awsome car. I mean Chevy knows it's not a performance model, why doesn't every other living being on the planet realize that too?
  22. So everyone is angry at a safety system and is saying GTR' suck because OBVIOUSLY Nissan WANTED to implement this on their new track monster? Honestly, that blows for the driver. There are crazy safety regulations going into all new cars these days and this is obviously over the line. If you get hit buy a car at a resonable speed you will die or be seriously injured. Thats it. End of story.

    68 Nova FS

    Sold! Woohoo!
  24. My dad just got a white one with a carbon fiber targa top delivered like 3 weeks ago. Its an "S" and its badass. Weird as hell though. There is no torque "curve", its just a flat like so its100% torque at any speed. Very awsome. He has been on the waiting list for I think 10 months to get it.
