they can if ran hot, but if it is a newer cpi engine i would look at the intake gaskets first. this may be the problem and can be the reason that the head gaskets are blown.

cobras are gone. and as far as the 51 goes the price has went up since the last post 2000.00 it would be best to contact me and look at in person

as the title says i need some old ford parts pre1953. i am looking for old speed parts intakes heads carbs exhaust etc. nearly anything that was built before 1953. so ask around and let me know. also i am always looking for pre 1953 complete (ormostly complete) cars or trucks. i am not looking for completed projects
