Getting updates from friends/fam in the area and the news. "According to 10tv, there are 1-3 suspects still at large. They said the threat is only to the Rhoden family, but everyone should remain vigilant just in case."

I've studied a few makers that use those, saw blades, and anything else they can find. I'm hoping to be forging my own blades successfully within 3-5 years.

I've wanted to start handcrafting and designing a few things after filming the show last year. Thanks to Steve for donating a couple of knife kits I was able to get rolling. I don't have before pics of this one, but here's what I did for him. My first ever attempts. I didn't make these blades. They were kits he had. I merely formed the handles from scratch with no tutelage or experience, polished, and sharpened them. The material is Dymondwood on these two. He said he wanted "one more rough and rugged" and the other "something different". The Red "more rough" one was literally whittled into existence. Yes, I understand that, but if someone can get down there could they not be excavated? I mean, with today's equipment and knowledge, why can't they be dug out?
