  1. Again, the only time I've witnessed lane splitting on freeways the rider(s) were excessively breaking the speed limit and riding like douche nozzles. Nothing legal about that. YMMV. If it becomes legal, cool. If not, cool. I'm indifferent. I dislike moronic driving regardless of means of transportation.
  2. My wife's MKIV Jetta is a 1.8t. Bewsted so it's race worthy.
  3. This. You know and when it all comes to a head, and it will, they may find out you knew all along. Even if anon letter is sent, say something.
  4. This guy is who I was referring to. Let's break it down. Complete disregard for other motorists. It's ok though. He wears protection. Then, if someone reacts to the ignorance, he wants them to die in a fire even though he CAUSED the initial reaction. Nobody would have to react if traffic laws were being obeyed by said rider. Anyone causing havoc in traffic is the problem. I don't care if you're a rider, "cager", or on one of those new fangled adult big wheels going down 71 sideways. If you cause any type of chaos or rage then YOU'RE part of the problem, not those obeying traffic laws until you tick them off to the point of over reacting. Oh well. Just my opinion. Take it or leave it. shrug.jpg
  5. Nah, old diner/drive in style burger joint. Not bad if that's your thing. BRB though, gonna open my own "you kill it, we grill it" type of place.
  6. Note the ":gabe:". Hahaha! I know you were thinking of me when typing this Jones. As Jones said, riders obviously know this and CHOOSE to ride. I would like to see EVERYONE safer, but the risk is inherent, isn't it? I would pick "neither". lol You said some girls told you that you look like Dan Bilzerian as well. Don't forget the dashing good looks and money to go along with it. Disclaimer: just kidding around Grant. Don't read too much into this. I don't have a problem with lane splitting at a rest, the only probs i have is the chode that busts between two cars already moving at a good pace because race bike.
  7. Anyone who has never been deaf for more than a few days really should not comment on this. What about my dead?
  8. Stocking up on paper towels, eh? PS - reflection of HMFIC noted. The baller. The shot caller. :gabe:
  9. This. That is fair as well. However, I have yet to see a lane splitter being anywhere remotely close to "safe". I don't rage. I "meh" and life goes on. Doesn't dismiss the fact that every single time I have witnessed lane splitting some tool was acting without regards to anyone but themselves. I agree with this. That being said, every motorist needs to be more aware. Period. Because they're better than you and their time is more valuable than yours. :gabe:
  10. Nice, but I feel like it will cost MUCH more than an equally capable rail buggy without the Ariel name.

  12. I don't even know what that term means. Respect is earned. Not given. I've had a few idiot bikers spoil my perception for the bunch. Make it legal and even more idiots will become prevalent. No, not all, but more, and that's enough reason for me to not like it. I may be wrong, I'll readily admit that, but I don't think I am. I've ran off the road to avoid idiots who passed on a double yellow then locked 'em up to avoid hitting a deer crossing the road. I did all I could to preserve that moron's life. Every time I see a "look twice, save a life" bumper sticker or yard sign I can't help but think, "THINK twice and save your OWN life!" I have a few friends and fam who are hardcore riders. I can respect the riders that earn it and obey traffic laws. The morons ruin it for me. Same with anyone else, be it vehicle drivers or bicyclists though. shrug.jpg
  13. I agree with all you said Grant, but this is the kicker. Yeah, maybe they flipped her off. Yeah, maybe they're bratty teens. It would be different if all the lady does was flip them back off. They're more in fear for the obvious overreaction. Running someone off the road and endangering that many lives while going rogue is asinine. They def aren't 100% innocent, but that lady went full on stupid.
