Looks great. Dad is looking for a brand spankin' new truck. Loves his last 2 fords but is looking for the right deal. Has a dealership offering him a stellar deal and great trade in. Got him looking at the Eco-Boost, but I dunno. Without telling what you paid, what are these going for? Yeah, I've looked online, but we all know online is very different than what they sell for to anyone who isn't an absolute fool.

Beautiful. Wish I had the cash. GLWS.

Little bro just called me. Went today and apparently they have no limits on 9mm now. Said the 1K bulks were going for $360. Didn't know if this info would help anyone or not but I though I'd share. Didn't say anything about other calibers. I'll check tomorrow or tues.

My point was simply this: The reason for much of the hysteria comes from the uneducated who insist on implementing their reasoning. What I'm NOT saying is that you SHOULDN'T be alarmed if you see someone strolling around with an AR. I agree with you on that. I just wish that everyone who spoke up/out against ANYTHING, be it gun or whatever, educated themselves. An AR is not a "machine gun". You yourself though said it "looks scary". Those two guns are the same caliber semi auto. The AR in that set up for sure could hold more rounds, but they're the same type of rifle. If something LOOKS scary to me I'd like to be informed as to what it is and what its full capabilities are. That's all. Not saying you're right or wrong and maybe I'm not getting my point across or maybe I'm even an idiot for trying to make this point. I don't know. What I do know is I personally wish everyone who ever spoke out strongly for either side of anything was educated all around to make an informed decision. Also, PLEASE don't take this as a jab or as "I'm smart and you're stupid." In fact, I'd venture to say you're an all around smarter individual than myself. I have no clue. Fair enough. Again though, just b/c many people cars on here LOOK like they're "street racing ultra high performance public endangering vehicles" doesn't mean they are. Just b/c someone owns a "big scary Rottweiler/Doberman/pit/german shepherd/mastiff etc. doesn't mean they are. Now we're back to concocting hypotheticals. Walking in a rural area known to have predators with your young unalarming looking son (see pics) and walking into a theatre like that are two VERY different things. Just as people say, "you can't compare cars to guns" we shouldn't compare these situations IMO. When did I say second guess instincts? Never did. I'm one part playing devils advocate and one part trying to get people to understand that educating yourself on something you feel strongly about is imperative to making your point. I can't rightly take a side on any issue if I don't fully understand the other side or at least know what it/they're about. Pit bulls look scary. Should we kill them all? If I see you walking a Doberman should I report you since you COULD have trained it to kill? I dunno man. I'm not saying Kirk, the guy in the vid, or anyone else is "right" or "wrong". I'm simply trying to see everyone's take on it. That's all. Also, I pretty much agree wholly with what Mojoe said. Have a great day fellas.

Quick question: Which of these is a machine gun? http://cdn2.armslist.com/sites/armslist/uploads/posts/2012/08/18/521291_01_c93_semi_auto_rifle_cal_223_640.jpg http://www6.davidsonsinc.com/dealers/prod_images/VC24EV-B.jpg

Fair, although I would refrain from saying "general public" if I were to say this myself. Not saying you shouldn't, just what I would say. "General public" in C-bus and "gen pub" in the hills somewhere are very different. I admit I'm pro rights, but an AR15 strolling down the road would raise suspicion. A man strolling with his son? Doesn't seem like much of a threat. The AR though makes me think it could be as BC said.

Because animals avoid paved roadways. Fact. Yup. We have coyotes regularly about 50-100 yards from our cabin. Animals don't see the boundries we do. For all they know we're out of place. City boys. :dumb: Agreed. I'd def take note. This. Feral. Hogs. The end. Also said he supports the LEOs in multiple ways. So which is it? One thing he says makes him a nut job and the other we right off? Maybe you're right. Maybe he was making a point. He still wasn't doing it illegally. If you're driving a modded car you come of as an immature illegal street racer. Makes cents. This I don't disagree with. Putting myself in the LEOs shoes and receiving calls I'd be cautious as all get out. Rational points and I don't disagree. Here, a man walks out with a rifle and I take note. In C-bus if someone walked out with the same rifle (no matter what kind) I'd be on high alert and may call it in. Also logical.

Crossbows. Made for hunting. Easily could be used to kill. If you sold one and someone killed someone, since that is what crossbows are designed for by your terms, would YOU feel responsible? What if you sell a gun to a guy who sells it to a guy who gives it to his cousin who sells is to a guy who kills a deer with it and someone steals it from that hunter and kills someone. Are you responsible? Stop thinking with your potato. Hunt and protect myself. I'm sure my .22LR bolt action could do some serious damage. It has a scope so you know I can hit shots past 500 yards no prob. Why would you indulge in the automobile argument then discredit it? In doing so you discredit youself. Also: Knives and hatchets. Medievel bull crap. Bingo. I was attacked (approached aggressively if you will) last fall. No fault of my own. Guy was apparently ticked for crappy service at Wal*Marts auto center (his dumb fault for taking his car there) and found me randomly in a parking lot on the phone with a friend. I became his target. At 6'1" and 310 pounds and with my Krav training I feel apt enough to at least have a snowballs chance at defending myself. This dude was big though. Much bigger than I. Looked like a white trash Hulk. From a distance I yelled at him to stop approaching, yelled to an employee to call the LEOs, and he kept advancing. Quickly. All I had to do was reach to my hip and he stopped, yelled more obscenities, called me a pussy for "having to use a gun and not fighting like a man", got in his car, and took off. That day my pistol served a purpose (and I never had to fully draw it). To preserve life or at least well being. I firmly believe that. Anyone can read this, scoff, and laugh it off. That's easy to do when reading online and not being able to verify the validity of what was said, but I know what happened that day. Glad I didn't have to test my strength (what little bit it may be) or my training. I'm super glad I was prepared.

Because they're big and scary to the uneducated.

Or after the camera was turned on. The world may never know. Maybe, but if it's not illegal what did he do wrong? The officer should have assessed the situation rather than (allegedly) attacking the man as he claims. Again, who knows if that's even what happened before the camera was on. My thinking as well, but I feel his sidearm would be enough. Maybe not. I dunno. I mean, I wouldn't want to face feral hogs at close range.
