No where does it say that they were uninsured. They will impound your car for having an illegal motor swap, that's probably where the bulk of those impounds came from. They'll impound your Civic if it's sporting any motor that didn't come in the car stock and the police are trained to know what motors are stock vs. swapped.

We should just let cruel and unusual punishment take over the justice system. I'm sure if we cut a finger/hand off every person that ever stole we'd probably have a lot less theft.

I'd like to trade all my Snap-On tools for Mac tools. I hate my new Snap-On dealer so I'm trying to trade in all my stuff for Mac tools. I got about $12k in Snap-On tools including my toolbox.

If you sand and tape it off, a Maaco paint job can be hit or miss. I've seen some pretty "decent" jobs come from Maaco.

The shows aren't really that bad. It's just the kind of crowd that it attracts. With that being said, it might be something to do with the wife for the day.

3/23/08 Today I decided to start stripping the GTS apart. I took the dash, part of the interior, and some miscellanous engine pieces off. Found out that I'm missing a couple pieces out of the engine (coil/ignitor and TPS connector had been cut off). I decided I'm going to try to basically make the engine look just like it did on the factory floor with a few little goodies. Plans are to delete the A/C system and keep the P/S, purchase/install TRD header, purchase/install injen intake, rebuild motor using all available OEM parts, delete cruise control, and clean/paint all parts to look new. That's basically the engine part of everything. I'm still uncertain on the rest of the setup. Yeah, sounds like a Quad 4. My sister's did the same thing in her Grand Am. I ended up putting a junkyard motor in it. I'm trying to get her to sell it b/c there's more problems. They are pretty pricey to get from the junkyard compared to other cars I've swapped.
