I see what you did there. I should have said "i have 2 pieces of advice"
-
I have 2 things to say. Someone might have it out for you. Move out of that area I'm sorry to hear about all this.
-
That would be amazing. Would u be willing to come to my garage. It's just south of German village. Wow, that's generous of you. What does the system tell us? Also, i will be at the shop tonight, Thursday, and Saturday (maybe sunday ifthats the only day you could make it). Or really any other day you could make it.
-
even after we established the point about it not being a boost ref FPR? fingers are crossed!
-
yep, bought that one tonight. to EF8SIRJunkie... I feel what you are saying. But i did discover that my FPR was not a rising rate unit... so that needed to be changed regardless.
-
I need one that's at jegs. Suggestions?!
-
what is the difference between a regulator, bypass regulator, and a bypass regulator with a jet? basically, im looking at the quick fuel units.... http://www.quickfueltechnology.com/search?query=boost+regulator also, they all say "anodized top has a fitting for boost referenced applications"... does that mean that its set to go... or that i need other components to run a boost ref system?
-
we arent saying that you are attempting to drift it on a daily basis. We are saying that the driveability of the car is comprimised, uncomfortable, annoying, and unreliable. You start modifying a car for drift and it breaks... how you gonna get around? race cars break, need to be rebuilt, and drive like shit on the streets.
-
^^^ CRAZY on the product description it clearly states that it is not a rising rate FPR. I BET, I BET, I BET, megan first introduced it 5 years ago as rising-rate... but after it didn't work... thye jsut (now) market it as non-rising.... hence why its in CAPS in their item description. From the description.... Product Features: - Polished - Professional installation is highly recommended. - Package comes with fuel line and vacuum line as well as adapters for most 2-Bolt applications. (May not fit your specific vehicle; however a machine shop can fabricate an adapter for your application.)- Universal Fitment with most Return-Type fuel systems.- Holds user-defined fuel pressure. (NOT A RISING-RATE REGULATOR)

I need a full set refinished (Work Eurolines) Also need two stock LExus wheels repaired... will be calling soon.
-
i have never seen a 2:1 boost ref FPR... with my setup the main restrictor is going to be the turbo or the MAF. i am running a walbro 255, larger fuel filter, 550cc injectors, and big rail.... and at 8 psi and hitting 13.5 AFR... BUT, at idle its got about 45psi of fuel pressure. Today i will find out if the fuel PSI raises as i build boost when i connect the FP gauge in my car.
-
There must be.. .because my existing FPR has a nipple and it clearly states that it is not a rising rate unit... The big question is… Are there FPR’s with barb VAC nipples that only reference vacuum, and others that reference both? Or should that barbed nipple work for both VAC/Boost on every FPR….? IE - does a barbed nipple mean it references boost?
-
Agree ,wit heveryone else... have a car for daily, have a car for street/track/cars,coffee I used to have a DD track car in college... WORST THING EVAR.
-
agree 100% My KAaz (90% clutches installed) acted identically to my welded diff that i currently run. I do (however) do not get annoyed with it. I get-RACECAR!!!!
-
Ahhhh. I see
-
I know it has a nipple... I think it only references vacuum... And/or does not have a rising rate. Read this product description... http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000PVD7MM/ref=aw_d_detail?pd=1 It says it's absolutely not a rising rate... My guess is that some FPR'S have nipples for vacuum reference... But do not reference boost (kind of a luxury option if you will). Can anyone confirm this
-
disagree. hehe
-
Apparently My car's FPR does not reference boost. How does it work? where is the port normallly? on top? I need to buy one tomorrow, I am going to go to jegs. Can anyone recommend on that is under 150 bucks?
-
Here's some new development..... MY FPR does have a vacuum fittign on it... BUT, after finding out that its probably a MEGAN racing FPR... it does not in-fact reference boost... so that MAY be the problem. can someone reccomend me a rise rate boost Referenced FPR that costs about 100 bucks?
-
David, my injector collars are not visibly leaking fuel... Are you guessing that they are??
-
[quote[ Though seems odd that it ran richer, at points, before on higher boost and no boost controller. [/img] I know, whats your best guess?? I dont know what it runs from the factory... apparently it runs 8psi... because thats what mine is doing (s14 t28). I think the order of events will be this.... Today i am going to hook up a Fuel pressure gauge so i can see fuel pressure in the cabin. My bet is that (under boost) the Fuel pressure will not rise from 3 bar-ish (45-49psi at idle) Does that mean the FPR is bad? or does that mean that the pump is fucked? I dont know if its high pressure or low pressure (walbro)... its the 255lph... how can i tell? s14 t28 David, i have a question regarding the EMance.... IF i change to a z32 MAFS... how will that affect the already tuned ECU? what is an injector boss? is that the round washer by the tip of the injector... can you post a picof a welded one?
