So yeah, I bought a house 6 months ago, and we've done some updates and made it what we want. Most recently, I had a new floor put in the foyer... it was once some shitty carpet that covered some old ass lenolium (sp). We did it the right way and had all the old crap removed properly and had some India Peacock natural Slate installed. We want to do things right so we "spared no expense" but in fact, ti cost way less than I had anticipated! Truckin (Justin) came over and installed a new foyer at a reasonable price. He did a sweet job. Clean and fast. I could not be happier. culprit was the filter! toasty home!!

looked at the filter.... dirty as fucckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk... took the filter out 9/10s of the way and now th heat is bloing out 3x as much. new filter tomorrow!!! we shall see.

correct^^^ i set it to 70 last night, woke up, and it said it was 64 inside the house... i got the "temp up" button and it resumed at 70 and went to 71.... purely a "here's what I want the house temp to be"g... but "its not gettin that warm" result.

I am a newer home owner and i woke up today and my house was freezing. The thermostat was set to 70 degrees but the actual temp was looming at 64 degrees. warm air is still blowing consistently out of the floor vents.... and for the last 2 months the temp has been perfect with what we set the thermo to.... but now its like 6 degrees colder. Is this typical for january weather? I never had a problem in november or december. help.
