  3. ^^^ check out Bathys and Itay-noy.... shit is nuts
  4. Jsut for clarification.. its not ONLY vintage watches that have complicated movement. It seemed like you were referring to the fact that only old vintage watches have complicated movement. True, most people know rolex, tag, cartier, breitling, panerai... Other baller brands that are less recognized and somewhat affordable (Sub 10k pricetag): Bathys Hawaii (Super unique, super simple) Corum Sinn Ball Ulysse Nardin and my favorite just because of the crazy styles: Itay Noy

  6. 58 inch Panasonic Plasma TV 720p 1250.00 I have owned it for 1.5 years and it comes with transferrable 1.5 year warranty (total of 3 years). PICS TOMORROW! Technical Details 58-inch HD-ready plasma TV; Digital Cable Ready with CableCARD slot Integrated NTSC, ATSC tuners; QAM tuner compatible with unscrambled HDTV cable reception 1366 x 768-pixel resolution; 10000:1 contrast ratio; motion adaptive 3D Y/C comb filter Connections: 3 composite A/V (1 front), 3 S-Video (1 front), 2 component (Y/Pb/Pr), 2 HDMI, 1 PC RGB, 1 SC memory card slot Two stereo speakers, 10 watts apiece (20 watts total); BBE ViVA HD3D virtual surround sound Product Details Product Dimensions: 55.1 x 17 x 39.3 inches ; 138.9 pounds Product Description Featuring Panasonic's 9th generation gas-plasma screen, the 58-inch TH-58PX60U features a width-to-height 16:9 aspect ratio similar to movie theater screens, providing a theater-like experience at home. Its maximum of 29 billion colors and over 3,000 shades of gradation provide exceptionally fine detail for outstanding HDTV reproduction. The set's built-in ATSC (DTV) tuner pulls HD signals (480p/720p/1080i) right from the airwaves, and its QAM tuner is fully compatible with unscrambled HDTV cable reception. A standard analog NTSC tuner receives standard-definition (SD) programming. It also includes a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot, enabling you to take an SD card directly from a digital still camera or camcorder and insert it directly into the TV for quick and colorful photo slideshows. A plasma screen renders vivid colors like you've never seen before (as in, up to 29 billion in this case), extremely wide viewing angles (wider, even, than those of most LCD screens), and easy placement due to a plasma monitor's slim profile--the TH-42PX60U is a mere 3.7 inches deep, one of the slimmest plasmas around--perfect for desk or wall mounting. Brightness tends to be extremely uniform across plasma screens, which are also impervious to the picture distortion and negative color balances that afflict CRT monitors when placed near lighting or sound systems. The TH-58PX60U features a 1024 x 768-pixel resolution and an amazing contrast ratio of 10000:1. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.) The 3D Y/C digital comb filter constantly analyzes the three dimensions of picture height, picture width, and picture changes-over-time, to reduce dramatically edge image artifacts while improving transition detail. Other features include V-Chip parental controls, on/off sleep timers, closed-caption decoding, aspect ratio control, and video input labeling. The TV's internal stereo speakers are powered by 10 watts per channel (for 20 watts of total power). It features the following connection options: Component (Y/Pb/Pr): 2 inputs (with 2 audio inputs) HDMI: 2 inputs Composite (RCA audio/video): 3 inputs (1 on the front), 1 output S-Video: 3 inputs (1 on the front) HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a lossless, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface to link any AV source with an audio and/or video monitor, such as a digital television (DTV). HDMI supports standard-definition (SD), enhanced definition (ED), or high-definition (HD) video, plus multi-channel digital audio--all using a single cable.
  7. sweet pics!!! /sarcasm
  8. but they played great today, they really did.
  9. my 60 degree wedge from 80 yards out has less loft than Terrelle Pryors passes....
  10. haha, this thread is funny. Remember when Napolean Dynamite's uncle was running off the fumes of his glory days and those dreams had eventually come to the realization that he was once great but now a has-been? Do you remember that? Well, that point can be transposed onto the buckeyes in terms of their 2002 National Championship victory... and the "now". Go Trojans
  11. Edited - im not going to be a dick today. Go trojans
  12. and if i do this it should kill all the old files and OS and employ a brand new set of everything? explicate more on why i have to hit x as it reboots?
  13. So, I have some fake Virus protection program that is fucking up my computer and I jsut want to wipe every single thing off the computer and restart from ground zero. I have the original disk that the computer came with. I assume you can use this disk to reinstall everything. How do i do it? do i have to delete basically my entire operating system and then put the disk in and re upload everything? Or do i just put the disk in and it will be straight forward from there? Can someone tell me step by step? Basically, I have viruses, and i want to start over from scratch, i don't care about backing up files or losing anything. I just want the computer to act like the day I first bought it, and do I have the disk that will allow that!
  14. This is America, you gave up certain rights the day you turned 18 and decided to remain a resident of the United states. Sorry bud. where was i when this thread went down? lol
  15. bump, new shipment of humidors... who needs a starter kit??? humidor/cigars/lighter/cutter
  16. You say that because you have heard the name. Any patek w/o a Minute repeater or a Tourbillon is ridiculously overpriced. Besides, their designs are mainly based around leather strapped inspiration. I wear military/dive/aviation wathces, they don't fit my style. Similarly, they do not fit my pricerange. I would NEVER spend 20-30k on a watch unless it was solid gold or had a tourbillon.... there's just NO POINT. the max I'll ever spend on a single watch would be 10k... otherwise if i were in the situation to buy a 30k watch i'd rather put a down payment on a supercar. not quite, in terms of transportation... most Tissot are more along the lines of a corvette most tag heuer are more along the lines of a porsche most breitling are more along the lines of a ferrari and a Patek is more along the lines of a Private Jet Don't forget, theres always Piguet.. that's like a small island... Keep in mind, All these companies have broad price ranges. Hell, Breitling makes a 90k watch too you know? I think it's funny though, you compare Breitling to a corvette... yet they have had a signature line for Bentley Motors for over 20 years....
  17. yeah, Breitling has grown in popularity over the last 5 years but people still aren't privy to the "tier" that they are on. Very nice high end stuff. Regardless, I like watches of all types and priceranges. I have watches that were 200 bucks (my michael Kors which i wear religiously(, my Triumph which was quite a bit more (and i love it to death), and there's my breitling, the nicest watch I own, which also makes me happy... I dont' segregate...In fact, there is a 200-300 dollar citizen that's got a minute repeater on it... That is otherwise UNHEARD OF!!! Most Minute repeater watches cost 20k-50k .....It would be my next purchase if it were larger than 42mm... http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Citizen-Eco-Drive-Calibre-9000-Minute-Repeater_W0QQitemZ310170857779QQcmdZViewItemQQptZWristwatches?hash=item48379fb133&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
  18. 48.8mm, and its 18mm thick here are the specs... http://www.gemnation.com/watches/Breitling-Super-Avenger-A1337011.C615-PRO2-1513.html for you i'd probably max out at 44mm if you want big, the secret for big watces on small wrists (without them feeling clumsy) is to get only a 44-45 mm dial but make sure its a full face rather than a bezel face... for instance... I also own this watch... its 45mm... http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41aSHcC12gL._SL500_AA280_.jpg buit it looks bigger than my 48mm super avenger because the actual dial is bigger whereas the breitling has a huge thick bezel. http://www.2000watches.com/shop/image.php?image=breitling/a13370.white.ssprof.jpg the same rules apply to wheels... and 18 inch TE37 (full face) looks larger than an 18 inch dish wheel..Plus, alot of companys make titanium watches too. very light. Corum makes quite a few Ti watches.
  19. they probably inspect the rolex for 10 mins to make sure its not a fake.. seeings how Rolex is the msot copied watch otu there.. haha BTW, how much did you spend on the servicing? BUSA (breitling USA) will do a complete overhaul of any Breitling watch for 500.00
  20. ^^^ that's a cop-out for the uneducated...we find this many time in cars too, like on my350z.com ("if it's not a volk wheel, we are ignorant to liking it") Rolex is had.... Rolex designs are boring.... Rolex doesn't make a watch 45mm+ Case It's funny, everyone jocks Rolex because its a memorable brand and synonymous with high-class... But when you walk into the Diamond Cellar you take one trip by the Rolex counter and think to yourself.. "gee, this looks boring and like everything they sell at Walmart"... then you walk over and look at the Breitling counter, Corum Display, and Panerai display and say "well, i've never heard of this stuff but it seems WAY more unique, nice, and young-minded. Have you even heard of Corum and Panerai? I dare you to try this (no hostility, just a dare)... walk into the DC and check out all the watches and then tell me that you think Rolex is the winning brand there...!
  21. By all means bro, the watch looks very unique! Deff. a cool watch! I never segregate due to price, a sweet watch is asweet watch. I like a lot of those swiss legend watches and they arent too terribly expensive!! you shoudl look up a brand called Bathys, that is the freshest/simplistic shit i've ever seen!
  22. FYI, that PRC200 is quartz. I don't know if that matters or not to you. I just wanted to let you know bro'ski. It's still cool looking as heck though!
  23. To be honest, spending 4-5k on a nice watch that will last a lifetiem is a deal considering the quality that comes with it. Besides, it's not nearly as expensive as a watch with a real tourbillon or non-chinese minute repater, those cost (base) 60k. I will eventually get a vintage Navi as well (AOPA too actually), they are amazing. But before then I will probably get a Corum. Farkas, Tissot are pretty nice and fairly cheap considering you can get an automatic for sub 1000.00 dollars. Deffinitely good quality.
