  1. your better off letting them rust oil of any kind on your rotor is bad if you do decide to spray something on them make sure you clean them up good with some sort of brake cleaner before driving around if you don't the oil can get in the brake linings and ruin them
  2. I'm goin to call cols joint and clutch in the morning I was just wondering how much a driveshaft colud be shortened I can get one a little shorter but th eone I have was free so if it works I'll save some money
  3. it calls for stock rod length because the crank increases the stroke on a stock bottom end. you can use a 6 or a 6.125 rod but you'll have to replace the pistons. watch your piston to valve clearance too, you may have to notch the pistons to get it to work properly. HTH
  4. try to use tubes it keeps the port velocity up (scavenges better) an open manifold while ok for simply directing the exhaust into a pipe creates an area of intermintent high and low pressure depending on which cylinders are firing. in english the turbo will(or should) spool faster with tube headers vs a manifold becasue it directs the exhaust directly to the turbo without mixing with the pulses from the other cylinders
  5. wrong there is a guy on V8buick.com running efi with twin turbos on his 455 and its very streetable over 700ftlbs of torque efi is only as good as you tune it it can run good or like a turd on anything large displace just costs more cuae you get into injectors over 100# ratings

Well, you could start by taking out the spare tire, jack, but not the lug wrench (you never know when you'll need it). And then if you want to get a little more extreme, but want to be able to put the car back together easily you take out the seats....all but the driver's seat. You could take out all your stereo equipment, and if you still want to listen to some music take out everything but the deck and front speakers.

What good is a lug nut wrench with no spare tire? </font>in case you have to smack someone down when you sandbag them and they want to whip your ass at 2 am and your all alone :D;)tongue.gif
