D16z6 = 1.6 , d15 = 1.5 d16 = 1.6
b16's are weak. If you are going to swap, b18b/c1/c5
As for saying turbo d16's are shit, you are wrong.
oh it it has vee-tech
I run 370cc's but 450's will work fine
Please Dyno your car so i can prove you wrong
im talking about hp that matters, You get 150-160 Wheel hp with that swap.
Not only did I do my research, i dont even own a b18c5 and im helping this guy.
Only problem i have with this statement is that we are talking about a type R. i'm sure that honda wanted to make it reliable, but the type R is the performance honda

i was looking around on honda-tech.com Cams do look like a nice thing to pick up. They might not be b18c5's but you get the idea

If it makes more power, wouldnt honda have already thought of that? Vtec comes on at the right time, changing it won't help much if at all.
With an engine thats made to live in vtec, i thought you would know this rico
just a fyi on the vortech sc, it makes its power at the redline,
so you wont enjoy that extra 100hp (ya sure) for long. And dont bother with vafc, even with i/h/e your car is stock(in my book of hondas).
RL did a nice job on my pipes,
