to echo bills post, after 2-3 years, I forget the standard, by ohio renters law, they must replace the carpet and paint/redo the interior for a new tenant. I'm coming up on my 2 years here and know that my place does replace all carpet, window trims and paints, so that's another thing to consider...

Well, did you fuck anything up while you were there and have a reason to be scared you might be raped? If not, just ask the apt people to do a walkthrough with you. I've done that at my two previous complex's, and never had an issue. We did the walk through after everything was out/I had cleaned and both signed the paperwork stating the place was left as agreed, I got my copy and a promise of my rent deposit refund check within 2 weeks, which I always recieved. If they won't do a walkthrough, and you live in a shitty complex/area, get an unbiased, 3rd party to walk through with you and take pictures. That way if it ever goes to court you have a witness and documented proof.

Oh well, I'd offer him $5k if I had it, that's a good price if the car runs/drives fine. So what about a salvage title at that price, 02 GT's w/ a clean title are still in the low-mid teens. I think its a fair price for the car from what it sounds like in the description...

I don't understand, when you started this post you stated if it got a salvage title you weren't going to sell it, but now it does have a salvage title and you still want to sell it, btw, pull all the good parts off of it and sell them, otherwise you won't see good money. These cars aren't pulling $1300 on a good day, with a clean title and no body damage. Why not fix it yourself if you think its so easy to do so?

Wow, $300/month for tools, well hopefully you get paid well enough to justify them. Sounds like some badass tool collection though...
