  1. In for cruise ins/car shows.

    Furnace info

I’d definitely go for the warranty/replacement parts if possible as replacing entire systems are not cheap. I replaced my entire system this past fall and went with the 80% efficiency setup again due to the cost. The high efficiency system was a couple thousand more and the expected breakeven was nearly 10 years, and I don’t plan to live here that long so no point to pay all the money for the next owners to just enjoy. +1 for Duff.
  3. Bought a new car last month so plan to get suspension, wheels, tires and exhaust done this winter and put some miles on it next year. Would be up for a cruise and may try a road course event. It’s been too long since I’ve had a fun car.
  4. Bought a GT, decided having a backseat was needed. Will post pics this weekend when I have computer acesss again, can’t get it to load on my phone. With Black Friday sales in full effect I’m trying to take advantage of some sales but haven’t done enough research and am out of town right now which makes it difficult. Few things I’d like right off the bat are lowering springs, wheel spacers and some sort of exhaust, either axle back or cat back. Any suggestions? Car has stock 19’s which I like but want them to sit flush. . Saw hoblicks car with eibach pro kit springs which look nice. Want a quad tip exhaust that’s a little louder than stock but nothing crazy and definitely no drone, just want a rumble. Thanks in advance.
  5. Thanks for the info. Will look into it. This one is a 2010 with 50k on it so hopefully all good.
  6. Going to test drive a grand sport tomorrow....what should I know before buying? 6spd, targa if that matters. Thanks
  7. Alright so I’m now considering a c6/c7, realistically looking a c6 Grand sport, found a local one I plan to drive this weekend. Anything to know about owning a corvette or buying one?
  8. I agree he’s awesome. He’s at a Chevy dealer now I think, can’t think of the name.
  9. Cody no longer works at tire discounters, FYI.
  10. Haha, I meant for ordering one. Just grabbed a picture online. I’m just going to order one to get what I want.
  11. Appreciate the heads up. Planning on stopping into Ricart and Germain this week to check out the colors. Definitely a hard NO on red interior. Really liking this color and these wheels, no stripe or spoiler. https://images.cars.com/supersized/in/a55fd617522a7a62d57b35376c5b51b3.jpg
  12. Is it a convertible? And I agree it went green all else would have to be blacked out. Hate that they require the stripe with the color as it would immediately be removed.
  13. Alright going through the process of ordering one and the color choice is a difficult one since I can’t see any of the colors in person. Which would you guys choose out of these colors? I’d say this is my choices in order...wish they still offered comp orange. Velocity Blue Race Red Magnetic Gray White The one color throwing me for a loop is the Need for Green...in pictures I like how it looks but I’m not sure if I should just go crazy and order it or stay more standard/safe on the color. I do like the thought of having a more rare/unique color you wouldn’t see everyday.
  14. Agree on the wheels, they’d be fine for winter setup. Looks like best price is $42,500 if I ordered one, gonna sleep on it a few, no rush with winter coming, not like I can go out and rip on it tomorrow anyways.
  15. DO. NOT. WANT. AUTO. Fun cruiser, no tracking it or anything. Drop the top and listen to the v8 rumble while rowing the gears.
  16. I checked one out, coughlin has a new 18 for $52k, but I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would, and I decided I definitely want a back seat.
  17. Yeah...but they don’t sell a vert gt350... and the others don’t appeal to me. I’m open to suggestions but did find two new 19’s for $40k I’m going to call on Monday. I have and will continue to look on the forums but it seems a loaded gt vert manual isn’t very common as I haven’t had any luck finding one. Any other fun convertible to consider?
  18. Welp, had to walk away after a test drive. Smiled ear to ear and was ready to buy when I pulled back in but noticed a few loose trim panels while looking it over and then bare metal/rough fender lip on left quarter, doesn’t match the right side so makes me think it’s been repaired and not the best since it’s easy to spot. Considering a new one now, probably order to get exactly how I want. Ugh.
  19. Pretty sure this is the one...after they remove the stripes. But they’re not budging on price, thoughts? https://www.ricartused.com/VehicleDetails/certified-2018-Ford-Mustang-GT_Premium_Convertible-Groveport-OH/3273389853?utm_campaign=deeplink&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=cars.com
  20. Agreed. Budget is 50ish, but can’t see spending that much on a mustang. LOL. Ricart has an 18 but it’s a prior rental and white, both are turn offs to me but it’s priced at 34 too, same as the 17. Wish there were more for sale. Going to see what I can do on this 17 today after driving it to make sure it drives as nice as the 18 I drove yesterday.
  21. :dumb: It’s not like it’s a Sebring, or a v6 camaro... Lux options over performance. Not sure I’ll notice the pp options with my anticipated driving, but it’s nice. Definitely plan to work on the price but also realize it’s a rare combo and good color.
  22. Definitely prefer the performance pack, nothing much mod related planned. Hmm, definitely not getting an auto. Didn’t realize 18 got more power and better gearing. Finding the performance package is proving difficult. I built one and sticker was 53k, lol for a mustang so not trying to go that route yet. I drove an 18, exhaust note was definitely sexy. Planning on test driving this one today. Thoughts? https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/753491084/overview/ 18 without PP or 17 w/PP for same price? That’d be my only question right now.
  23. Definitely getting a manual, finding a used one optioned up isn’t easy, going to drive a new one today.
  24. Shopping for a 15+ gt vert and looking for some insight before purchasing. Should I get the performance pack? I like the sounds of it but from a quick search appears the Magneride suspension may be more difficult to change/upgrade over the standard? Just considering lowering at some point. Not sure if I should even make it a priority for a fun weekend car. And anything to know about 15-17 vs 18+? From what I can tell it’s an appearance change front/rear and that’s it. I do prefer the dual twin tips on the 18+ exhaust but not positive the curvy front end has grown on me enough yet. Any other changes to consider? Thanks
