Mark,Originally posted by Stolen UFO:Between Paxton, SX, HKS and Aeromotive, does anyone have good/bad experiences with any of these? Given that poorly regulated fuel pressure can ruin your day and all...
After taking a couple apart, the SX looks pretty sturdy. I have never seen a HKS or Paxton, but the Aeromotive and SX look the same from the inside.
Be careful with the fittings. We've found that running a -10AN male to -6ANmale on the sides ends up bottoming out and cutting off/slowing down fuel return. Had to get crazy with a dremel and an AN fitting, once!

Does anyone here read Kanji? I never learned.
Domo aragato.

Yes, Jeff.
Send me a PM with a # and I'll call you tomorrow with a name and number. Ron does some sweet competive track car work out of his shop in Hilliard. Be glad to introduce you to him. This is the type of work he does.

I got a woooooody over it.
It's nice they finally have a windoze version of the software going. Anyone know if it's windoze v3.1?
The 32-bit is finally sweet.
It would be too hard to give up my PFC+datalogit. Hmmm. I do know someone that would buy my old unit...

K and I both bought it. It's only $35 and the author gets all the proceeds. Check out his website at www.cartest2000.comOriginally posted by The TSi U Fear:Anybody have the Full Version?
For evaluation purposes only of course

Okay. So 238 is where I am at. So how much HP would I free up if lost 38 pounds?

I have a gear puller, but Autozone has what you need. Rent it tomorrow during the day if you can, don't wait for the weekend.
My Sunday is family day, but I'll be out late Sat. night.

I got 'em off.
I waved an angle grinder at them and they popped off in fear.
I tried a 3' breaker to no avail. Started to round the nut at that point.
I just went crazy with the blue tipped wrench...aka "the torch."
Amazing how long a nut, bolt, and the bottom of shock will glow for when heated
Thanks for your advice and time!

Thanks for the offer of help.
Air-grinder sounds more appealing as this day drags on at work.
I am thinking that I might not be getting enough power to the tool with only 80 PSI (that's when my fuse blows in the garage.) Again, it was enough to get a 275 ft lb. flywheel nut off!

It's the lower bolt/nut for the rear shock! It should not be this difficult. I am thinking about trying to find a bigger "gun."Originally posted by attitude4U:Torch and hammer time What exactly are you tryin to get off? I know most things come off with an air wrench. If I could find my friend I'd come on over and let you use the air wrench. Good luck smile.gif Peace

First thing I checked was the visible threads..to make sure I was not making my case worse. I tell you, I kept checking the impact wrench to prove to myself that it was turning in the correct direction. Not a SA comment at allOriginally posted by Akula:The best stuff I have ever used (on an old VW) was called JB 80. I got it from some friends that work on earth moving equipment. You soak the nuts for a good long while with the stuff and let it work. I had one nut that just wouldn't come off with a big breaker etc..., it took 3 days of soaking with this stuff and finally it came off.
Not to be a smart-ass, the thread isn't reversed to due to travel direction or something, is it?
I've been soaking it in Liquid Wrench for about 6 hours now. I might just have to rig a container and immerse it in the stuff.
What puzzles me is that my flywheel but came off with about 2 minutes of the same impact wrench. And that puppy sees some heat cycles.
I may have to cut!

Impact wrench (250lbs+), liquid wrench, torch, 3 foot breaker bar with me on the end (240lbs, and a broken socket) and still no movement.
Damn, a 1 hour job to swap out my suspension just got frustrating.

Hua,
Tell me what you know about the A'pexi twin-chamber BOV. I have one sitting on the shelf waiting for a flange to be welded on. Enlighten me and save me from harms way! smile.gif
Thanks.
Editted out the question, as it was answered!

Anyone have Bruce Turrentine's video on how to rebuild a rotary? Getting prepared for an eventual rebuild and street port before I get serious enough to make the big ponies.
Thanks
Slide hammer type hub puller?

I want to say AutoZone, but that is not it, rents tools. Fifth Ave. Location. Ah, Advanced AutoParts, maybe? They have the "gear" slide hammer pullers.
