might want to use a image where the engine is not behind the rear wheels. LOL

it may not be luan but it was used like luan as a leveling board. Pull the trim and just take your time pulling it up. I would also screw the floor down to the joist as well to help prevent flex in the floor or if there are any squeaks.

you need to pull the trim as it will site on top of the tile when done.

Trim needed to be pulled anyway. as for the cabinets that sucks.
