It's not a motherboard, it's an adapter card for socket 370 processors so they can be used in a slot 1 motherboard.

I believe if you get collector tags POST echeck, you still have to get tested once time, although I don't think it matters pass or fail. Your best bet is either register it in another county or add cats and let it fail. There's only a $350 cap on repairs and after you spend that much you'll get a waiver.

 

The sizeable investment for collectors plates is $5000 I believe, and you must have recipts, photo's, etc. Plus, anything they deem uneccesary will not be counted. I've read into this MUCH since we already have echeck over here. It's just about time they get you slackers over there!

I was looking around on www.gnttype.org and a few others but they don't have the usual "what to look for" pages that I've seen in the past, but can't seem to relocate. Hopefully the car will still be there when I get down there to check it out, but it's priced REALLY low since the guy wants to move it badly, hence the reason I really wanna look it over well too.

It's listed for REAL CHEAP and i'm not looking for the fastest car but it's a pretty good deal. Supposedly "No rust" but i'll verify that when I see it up close. Even if it only run's 16's, I'll be happy with it.

Can you give me the good, bad and ugly on the '85 year T-Types. I got a guy sellin one for a good price and I might go pick it up. A few guys here seem to know your shit with them so I thought I'd ask.

They are 10" MTX Road Thunder Two Subs mounted in a bandpass box. The bandpass box isn't the best but I can get a sealed dual 10" box also. I have a few pics, where to send them?

i got mtx 8's in a mandpass box, or they might b 10's, i'll have to look.

make sure the threads are clean too, any residue or oils can cause fasteners to work loose.

I'm not sure a zenier would work since it tries to shunt excess current to ground, wouldn't that fry it due to the high fluctuating DC buss and high current?

I beg to differ there. While standard oil has come a long way, it still does not hold a candle to what a good synthetic oil can do for your car. I even run a lower cost synthetic blend in my beater since the protection is far superior.

 

I work next to an oil lab at work and get my motor oil tested often and you can literally SEE the difference like night and day between regular oil and synthetic. To each their own though.
