1070's and 1080's are still well over priced.

Girlfriend has a 2000 Explorer Limited. Has the 4.0 V6. In the cold weather, if you start it and let it run to warm up, it will die after a few mins. It's like clockwork. No battery issues. Also at times, it will not start at all unless you use starter fluid. She will see a noticeable drop in MPG in the winter too. Whats CR's guesses?

ok, I am running HDMI out from my video card to an HT receiver. works great. until... i want to run Nvidia surround on my triple monitor setup. which i can do great buuut no sound. it shuts off the "monitor" that is my hdmi sound when i run it 3x1. 4x1 the computer will think my receiver is a monitor and screws up what i do see. do i make sense?
Nevermind figured out a workaround. ran HDMI out of the receiver pass thru. I'm a lil slow sometimes. you can delete mods.

really disappointed in this "challenge" i loved the tide pod challenge. at least it had a better chance of killing the idiots who did it. waiting for the cyanide kool-aid challenge. darwin ftw.

Joe Nails it with this. If this passes this is all it brings to the table. College Campuses are usually well patrolled and already pretty secure. The most recent incident actually lasted barely longer than a minute from the first stabbing to the shot that killed the assailant, you aren't really going to improve that response time. Granted there were other factors here like fire department being onsite at the time of the incident but Police patrol of college campuses is already high and response time is pretty great (most campuses have police stations in close proximity as well, OSU has one on campus one block south of Lane ave on Kenny Rd).
There is literally no real value to students, faculty, or visitors by allowing CCW on a college campus, the value is all to the politicians who can grandstand by making this look like they are doing something when they are not.
College campuses are concentrated populations where accidents and carelessness can magnify the tragedy. They are also populations that are extremely susceptible to suicide (most of the top tier colleges track higher than the national average) so it is not an "ideal" environment to introduce risks that track higher along those metrics like possession of a firearm.
I just don't think the false sense of safety is worth the extra risk.

My girlfriend has a 93 camaro. Being nearly 30 years old things break. Anyone have any good sources for parts? Are any of the restoration companies starting to do things for these cars yet? I haven't had much luck. Right now she's needing parts for drivers Sideview mirror.
