I have a nice set of gently used winter wheels/tires for any of you with a 5-114mm (4.5") bolt pattern looking to run something much better looking than the black steels. I did not have pressure monitor sensors installed when I purchased these. No vibrations were noted when last used so they should still have good balance if you just plan to install them yourself. Also, they're not bent or cracked and have been holding air now since 2010 while sitting on a shelf. Details in the ad. http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/4220941940.html Email me at mkent930@gmail.com for quickest response.

Been up here since the first week of June....so not long! I go to Stoney Creek about 4 times per week after work and just took the gf to Rochester Mills Saturday night. Great beer! This really is a nice area, for sure! On topic, I would love to have an SRT-8. I'd put snow tires on it and drive it all year round...gas mileage sucks though and I drive 35-40k miles per year.

ha! I live at Hamlin and Rochester Rd also...looked like a nice area and I didn't have much time to look around so I grabbed this apartment at the Oaks at Hampton. Coincidently, a few weeks ago, Ben Clarke and I were partyin at Adobe's at Easton in Columbus and I ran into the owner of the Bordine's Nursery here beside the apartments on Hamlin! Anyways...oddly enough, I work at the Chrysler Tech Center in Powertrain Systems Development. So I may or may not have seen a few of these mysterious Jeeps driving around the area...lol

those rumors always seem to be pretty accurate...its hard to keep word from getting out when thousands of people already know! Mallard, who do you work for up here? I'm up at Rochester Hills now a little north of Detroit working in the auto industry.

If anybody is looking for a weekend activity, I just found this event (about a 3 hour drive from Cbus). I did not get my exhaust or intake in time to drive the Z up there, but I still plan on attending. I recently moved up north of Detroit, so it is a little closer drive for me than for you, but none the less, I thought I should share. http://www.camarosuperfest.com/info.shtml

Radiator is gone. Price lowered on turbo kit. I know there's a few LT1 guys out there wondering where a turbo will take them.

i had the craftsman 1.5ton aluminum jack and it broke just outside of warranty...Sears does not sell replacement parts for jack. I bought a really nice low profile steel jack at Summit Racing this winter. It's low and works very nice so far. I've heard alot of the aluminum jacks breaking from various manufactures. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G1020/ its a little above your $200 budget, but definately seems heavy duty and it is the lowest profile I could find for my 4th gen.

-CPT Race 4L60e originally out of an 11 sec nitrous car in Florida who is an active person at camaroz28.com I bought it in good used condition and had it "refreshed" with new bands and clutches and also had it upgraded to the "Pro Race" build with the 4L65 front support and hardened shafts. I had a cooler line leaking pretty bad and burnt OD out of it the day after I installed it when I attempted to drive to work (it was 90 miles so it had plenty time to leak). After that, CPT got overloaded and I had to find a new guy to rebuild it. Vince Janis in Akron (very reputable nationally in the Buick Grand National world) tore into this transmission then, made sure I had all the upgrades I paid for from CPT and then he installed new frictions, steels and a 2-4 band. The day I got it reinstalled, i drove it 2 miles and busted the 10 bolt on a 2nd-3rd shift...I fixed that and a week later busted a rocker stud in the motor. Point being, this transmission has about 1 tank of gas on it and it shifted flawlessly on 6psi from a TC78 turbo. -2800 Vigilante Single Disc Lockup. I just had it rebuilt at Precision when the trans was rebuilt. It also has less than a tank of gas on it. $1200 obo for the ProRace built 4L60e $400 obo for the Vigilante convertor If somebody wants both, make me an offer. I'll make it a package deal. mkent93@yahoo.com if you have questions

-LT1 Boost log manifold turbo kit with my own front mount intercooler kit complete with Turbosmart Raceport BOV welded inline before the MAF. -Like new (<500mi) TC78 turbo (standard bearing) (This is a pretty complete kit. The only thing I don't know if I still have is the oil return line which will go from the bottom of the turbo to the oil pan. Jon at LT1 Boost said 550-600rwhp through the auto with the t67 was likely with this kit. Jose said with that TC78 it should be 700-800rwhp. I never got the bugs worked out to see a dyno or a track, but at just 5psi it was definately faster than the 12.6 second setup I previously had.) - SOLD---OFI 3.5" aluminum radiator for vertical mounting in the 4th gen Fbod. (The mofo was something around $900 new with the 2 pusher Spal fans. Even with the high underhood temp, the coolant temp stayed between 160-180F when I left it run in a drive way on a 90* day.) Radiator Dimensions are 26 x 3.5 x 12in. Fan Specs: 30102045 Weight: 5.25 lbs. VA13-AP70/LL-63S Fan (13" HP Curved Blade) 13" Curved Blade High Performance Fan / 12V Pusher $275 for both fans (again, like new) $SOLD for the radiator, pressure tank and hoses (like new) Turbo kit: $1650 for the hot and cold parts and another $800 for the turbo. Email me at mkent93@yahoo.com if you want more info. All prices are OBO and I can readily have pictures of everything at your request.

funniest thread I've read in months! $5 would be a bargain for this thread! (I'm an actual person and not an actor being paid by Hwilli)

I hope you keep this thread up to date. I cut the middle black section out of my 97 camaro front bumper to allow air across the intercooler. However, the rest of the car is far too nice to have this hillbilly ricer look so I have also been wondering how the eurothane bumper cover could be modified.

NA mild cam car from what I was told. Brian, no problem, you can call me whenever. Was the fuel pressure ok?

Rob did some work on my IS300 a couple weeks ago and did a fine job! He was a good guy to do business with. Thanks, Rob!
