oh yeah i guess ill share what was done. complete tear down frame repainted Tag Grips Uni Filter Boysen Reeds Pivot Works Swing arm bearing kit pivot works wheel bearing kits repacked steering stem bearings polished swing arm and rear shock res lubed all cables cleaned carb rejet carb re polish fmf pipe re pack silencer boysen dual stage power reeds all new UFO plastics flushed radiators, filled with HP Coolant drained oil, filled with GN4 drained gas, 32:1 HP2 full synthetic degreased chain, cleaned, lubed with HP graphite cleaned all brake system, filled with prestone dot4 cleaned sprockets cleaned and lubed all axels lubed bushings some new fasteners were used in some areas as well. when i bought it the motor was just rebuilt. have invoice from it as well. new OEM cylinder, new piston, rings, powervalve assembly.

well my kx is almost finished, have a brake part on order that needs to go on, the chain needs to go back on, and i have to install boysen reeds, and rejet the carb yet. but here are some before and after. what a difference. this bike came far in a short time. lots of riding.. me and the wife will be taking a few trips to go riding in different areas with some friends. will be getting some more things for the dirt bike, and probably just leaving the 400ex alone. getting some trees cut down in the back yard, painting the inside of my garage, redoing my bathroom, and re-carpeting 2 rooms. for the cars, the stang will sit how it is, outside of a new tranny filter and flush. and the civic im going to try a little auto x with. oh yeah and working alot of overtime.

probably around $1200. thats whay i have been seeing them go for lately in the 99-02 range

its not about getting HP for me its about keeping the motor happy. especially on mine. air cooled, and high compression. race gas is less likely to detonate, and also it will make the motor run cooler.

i can do the cam no problem. what compression are you going to?? a higher compression piston in that bike may net you a decent power increase, but will be alot more to keep up with, correct jetting, and youl probably have to run race gas. unless that thing is is fuel injected. also you know with a more extreme cam you are going to run into problems with the valvetrain. IE the springs and rockers will only take so much abuse for so long. also while your in there, might as well do a heavier timing chain. jsut things to consider. do you already have a gasket kit for that motor. if not i suggest a cometic and some heavy duty studs. id be willing to help you with the install if you want some help, and are interested in a littel do it yourself. just let me know

may i add that i can get any mobile 1 full synthetic oil there to. 0w20 and up. and not only is it free, but if i were to pay wiht cash instead of tickets its at a very discounted price.
