Not a lot going on with this build yet, just collecting parts here and there. Been super busy with powdercoating. I did order a new white top, set of 18x10 wheels (will be getting coated white), front rotorsas well. Dry fitted the spindle, rotor, wheel off the car, clearance looks good off the car. Looks like very minor modification to fit the Brembos to the spindle.

Yup. If a mod can fix the sizing that would be awesome

Fixed, but my pics are huge. Don't know how to fix that

Stock? Or aftermarket?

You are right, 88 is a speed density car

Looking for four 275/35 ZR18 if anyone has anything

The red interior is pretty much worthless. Doors, hood, trunk as long as they are rust free worth maybe $500 total. Bumpers and ground effects, couple hundred. Top, top motor, quarter window motors, worth a few hundred. You might able to part it out and what you make would cover cost of the car and travel expense, giving you a free motor and trans. Might be worth it, but consider your time dismantling everythjng

Playing in the Streets, what's it take these days?

Agreed with the traction topic. That's my biggest issue in my car, still trying to dial it in, but running 305/45-17 ET steet Rs @ 18psi on the street, it will still stripe the highway from an 80 roll -

There are plenty of 1000hp cars running around, not something you see on a daily basis, but they are out there. I don't go out and street race like a lot of the hardcore guys do, mostly because I work to much, don't have the time, or have other hobbies I participate in. But it is fun to go catch people off guard rolling down the freeway. I have put bus lengths on some pretty cool/fast cars, and no one expected the ass whooping they got. I won't race for money either, never have, I just like running someone for the fun of it. Doing roll races benefits my car honestly, and it's a lot easier on parts. But generally I don't crank the boost up unless I need to. -
During winter, I don't unwind, I'm on full work mode 5:30am- 11pm 5 days a week, weekends its usually 8am till 1am Summertime is different, I've now made myself cut back almost entirely on my side work to enjoy the warmer months. Work my normal day job, Them I ride my motorcycles, hang out with the wife and dogs, go boating, or whatever.

That's the plan. Not sure what tires im gonna run, but I will be running 18" wheels for sure

Calipers came in today, 4 piston Brembos from a ATS. The ATS runs 13" rotors, which is what the 03 cobra rotors are. Picked the calipers up for $130 shipped. Have to order rotors yet, and start doing some parts swapping so I can start measuring for caliper mounts.

Got the 5 lug swap parts blasted and coated, new front hubs and lower ball joints came in today. Scored a set of 4 piston Brembos on eBay for next to nothing. Still have to sort out what rear calipers I'm going to run, but they will be 2 piston Brembos. I'll be running 13" 03 Cobra front frontera, and 11.65" Cobra rear rotors. Unfortunately moving forward will be halted till I choose wheels. after I get some wheels, then I can start measuring for caliper brackets to be machined.

Jorge is smoother, and yes more technical. Marquez is just ambitious and aggressive. Zarco has really impressed me this season. Overall this has been one of the best seasons in the past few years, although I wish Rossi was a little more competitive.

I'll PM you a quote when I get out of the shop this evening

Insane save by Marc Marquez in qualifying yesterday

Copy that, I got a set of Z06 wheels I'm doing this weekend.

Just an FYI for everyone, I'll be back to full swing powdercoating again starting November. I cut back during the summer so I could enjoy myself a little bit, but myself and my 2 employees are ready to go. I'm also still offering detailing services for anyone interested. Tim is the go to guy around here, but if you are out closer to Marysville and need anything done let me know. Still offering motorcycle repair services, modifications, tire changes, and suspension work/tuning as well. I'm outfitted with mig and tig welders, and have a machine shop close by for anything I need.

$135. Didn't need calipers or rotors since I'm doing a different brake setup. Of course I'll get powdercoat them
-
Hit up pick and pull Sunday morning, got lucky and got spindles hubs, axels and rear brackets for the 5 lug conversion with rear disc brakes

They are out there, just really hard to find

Lol, I don't leave stuff alone. Have all winter to play with it, and that's what was intended. Engine will be staying stock, aside from maybe a cam purely for sound. Exhaust, suspension, brakes, wheels. Replacing all worn out parts that make rattles or squeaks, refresh all fluids, fix any leaks if it has any, and dynamat the interior. If I could find the pony wheels in 18" I'd be all over them. Someone makes them, but I'm having a hard time tracking down who it is.

It has some dings and 2 small dents . I'm trying to line up a PDR guy to come out and go over the whole car. Interior needs a few small things replaced, new weather stripping is in order, I need to weld the seat frame on the driver seat, and I'm going to try and repair the cracking in the driver seat leather, if I can't make a good, clean repair I'll be looking for a seat cover. Front bumper is going to be repainted, or replaced with a saleen style just to give it that lower appearance, and I'll run an 04 Mach 1 chin spoiler on it. I have a few ideas I'm going to try out for some subtle side skirts, something that looks newer but OEM
