I have two models i really want to get rid of, the first of the two is a Tamiya 1/12 scale Yoshimura Hayabusa X-1 highly detailed model includes everything only opend to make sure all parts are there. i payed $45 want to get atleast $30 also have a 1/12 57' chevy coupe (Bel Air) Very higly detailed very huge plastic model, i opened the box primered the body and then fixed the imperfections on the body thats it. i have not driven one but i have took a ride in a modified one, the whole suspension was done, White line track coilovers, whiteline sway bars, white line strut tower bars, and replaced ever bushing in the car with noltec, also had Work wheels with sticky tires, seemed to handle just fine to me, however it could chage when i drive. probably not since he was on it full the whole time, Nurk if u looking for parts and what not like i said call midwestpd and ask for brandon, his GTO is their shop car. btw they also have the special alighnment tool that you need for the gto.

im not going to lie, if i had the money i would drop a ls1 in it. same weight as the stock motor if less. only thing i would worry about is the rear diff.

for 5 grand it depends on what you want. for a 89-93 1.6 miata its not a good car for boost. atleast the 1.6 motor that is if you get a 1.6 you want to build it na not turbo. you can find a 1.8 miata for around the 5 k range. there really is no problems with miata except you will want to pay attention to spark plug wires miatas really like some of them and dont like some. also if your looking at any miata and find one with a hard top i would deffinitly recomend it. i would offer to let you drive my 91 miata but it doesnt feel at all like a stock miata would. the suspension is track suspension and the drive line is highly modified. as far as forums i would check out miata.net but guys on there can be dicks. i would say best shop around is http://www.flyingmiata.com they can tell you anything you want to know about a miata off the top of their head. i will tell you this i own a 91 miata and a 2001 se. i like both cars about the same but its just a personal opinion really. if u have any specific questions on miatas just pm me and ill help you out. i dont know of any in the area for sale but im also looking for a 91 for parts. if you do find some one and want help looking at it let me know and ill help you. oh since your planning on autocrossing come out with us (buckeye miata club) once and youll meet people that will let you ride along in their cars. http://www.buckeyemiataclub.com

id be carefull out there its deffinitly still slippery from the salt.

wireless router, modem with wireless compadibility and some kind of wireless security (you dont want other people bumming off your connection slowing you down) oh and by the way +1 on linksys decent products for cheap prices i only use it because i got it free but theres no problem its only used for our laptops in the house. my other computers all run hotwired to netgear.

it sounds like a pretty bad ass idea, i agree with assured risk about some things, tools will disappear and people will bump other people. and the fact that theres cars with alot of money invested in them sitting around and some people know it they would get in and just go crazy. im truthfully saying that some people are shady and there would be a huge trust issue. allthough if u could rent out a place with individual storage spots or "Garages" that lock in some way would be a good idea. but if you get a lift im sure ill be paying to use that.
