  1. honestly just be careful driving, if anything happens accident wise to the car before VW buys it back you wont get crap.
  2. Ironically I think you are right, TRD sells this lip that fills that void in. http://www.jzsinternational.com/image/cache/data/user009/53/5953_1-500x500.jpg
  3. Skipper front lip in carbon fiber is ordered... Now I need to come up with a plate for the car. I was thinking "F GVN " since the ISF has " NO F GVN" but I don't know if I want to risk them re calling the ISF plate.
  4. I couldn't agree more, the one thing I didn't like about the car is be front bumper but the front lip fixes that majorly. I found a guy selling a carbon fiber one at a really good price I'm working on getting now. If I get it and don't like the carbon fiber I'll just paint it. No worries Jordan I ended up finding this one and it was very close to what I wanted.
  5. im planning the Skipper gs350 lip in either color match or carbon fiber. http://i57.tinypic.com/w1u4hy.jpg
  6. So as most of you know I currently daily a 2010 Jetta Sportwagon TDI but thanks to VW for buying it back I decided to go out an buy a new daily. VW has not bought the sportwagon back yet but I figured since there are 500K TDI included in the fix/buy back that means there could be 500k people in the market for a used car making the prices of used cars go up. I also figured that most of the parts on mine I can put up for sale now and sell before the market gets flooded with the same parts and thus depreciating the value so basically a win win. Anyway with my new commute to work I wanted a comfortable cruiser that's auto to deal with traffic. I was looking at the 2012+ Audi Allroads which I like because it was a wagon but it also had a larger price tag being an Audi. I just happened to look up the Lexus GS350 F sport on a whim and found they were around the same range as the all road but its got much more tech to it. TL;DR I bought a 2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport AWD in Nebula Gray Pearl with the black/white perferated leather. I really wanted Flaxen (peanut butter) but this one had all the options I wanted and was priced well under KBB. First mod planned is a front lip, I probably wont lower this one because I want to keep the comfortable ride and after putting Penskes on the ISF I wont even bother with cheaper coilovers. Yay crappy cell phone pictures.... ill take a few more once I get it cleaned up.
  7. thanks, not sure why it doesent want to work for me. PCI SSD's are amazing especially on Itx and M-ATX motherboards that way you do not need any extra components in the case. Some motherboards even have the M.2 slot on the back of the motherboard so you never even see it. the SM951 is still top dog when it comes to SSD speeds, but its a commercial grade SSD meaning its not readily available. this SSD will not work on all m.2 slots also. you need to make sure the m.2 can use the lanes from the PCI slot. the SM951 works in the R5e motherboard btw.
  8. Method of Payment: Paypal, Cash for Pickups Shipping: con US, Buyer pays shipping *Item for Sale and Link to Item: Asus Rampage 5 Extreme motherboard, $200 http://www.newegg.com/Pro..._-13-132-262-_-Product comes with all accessories and original box. This is the "first" generation. I had issues with the computer rebooting and I swapped out to the Rampage 5 Edition 10 board instead of dealing with it. After i swapped out I found out that it was a bios revision that caused the issue and its a common issue, either drop back to the 2102 firmware or the newest one. I did remove the heatpipe from the stock chipset since I had the water blocks on it. As such for the asking price I will throw the copper/ plexi blocks in free. I also have a nickel/Plexi R5e mono block ill sell for $100 extra with the board. Samsung SM951 512 GB SSD, $200 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA12K3GB5852 No issues, Just got impatient when I swapped motherboards and wanted to do a reformat and not have any downtime. EK Rampage 5 Extreme Monoblock in Plexi and nickel. Comes with a brand new top for the main section because I noticed a few small cracks forming. $135 http://www.performance-pc...-monoblock-nickel.html EK Asus Rampage 5 Extreme chipset water blocks plexi - copper. http://www.performance-pcs.com/ek-fb-kit-asus-r5e-waterblock.html $50 Not very old, Just swapped out for some nickel ones. SB block has some spiderng around one of the inlet/ outlet but still seals just fine. Comes with a brand new SB top, copper could use some polishing since a bit of water got on the other side when I cleaned it. Yes there is a O ring in the one, I didn't notice it before I took the picture.

  12. Roadtrip radio was awesome, yacht rock not so much.
  13. you wont be able to, to get the buy back or mod money you must have owned the car pre september 28, 2015. after that vw will just say sorry, you took advantage of the low cost and require you to get the modifications at no charge to you. I know a few people that went out and bought 2-3 of these and they have just been sitting on them since. I laugh knowing they are not going to get crap hah.
  14. 2013-15 Audi all road 2014-15 BMW 328d Xdrive Sportwagon 2013-2016 Lexus CT200h F sport in ultra sonic blue 2014-2015 Lexus ES300 2013-2015 Toyota 4runner TRD PRO Maby something VW if VW offers money off to keep VW but nothing else really appeals to me.
  15. so many people cannot do math.. you get one column or the other not both.... Beginning July 26, 2016, you can see the exact Buyback and Approved Emissions Modification payments for your car by visiting http://www.VWCourtSettlement.com and entering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), mileage, and other required information.
  16. This is not just some bracing that has the come off for the car. You literally need to pull off the entire rear end including bumper, tail lights, crash bar etc.

    E85

I always got my E85 in Gahanna/ New Albany Meijer. I used to always get it and fill my 55 gallon drum and it would almost always test out at e90.
  18. If you change your mind on doing It yourself your welcome to come do it at the garage with use of the lift.
  19. actually I looked into it more, Supposedly you will get the value back plus a cash payment on top too. they didn't say how much. The "Mileage Adjustment Table" works in conjunction with the "Buyback and Approved Emissions Modification Restitution" and the "NADA Region List". In order to find what VW would be looking to offer you (for owners, not lessees), you need to do a few steps: #1: Determine your NADA Region using Attachment 1B #2: Determine the base value of your vehicle using Attachment 1A #3: Determine the amount of additional or diminished value based on mileage using Attachment 2A, 2B, or 2C based on your model #4: Subtract the mileage adjustment from your NADA vehicle value. NOTE: each of these forms has a "Buyout" option and a "Modification" option. These two values are based on you making one of two choices: #1: Let VW buyout your car (you sell it back to VW) #2: Keep the car with the intent to see if a modification comes out for your car prior to May 2018 These documents seem pretty thorough to me, but the thing that I am not seeing any clarity on is if we opt to go the "modification" route and then nothing materializes by May 2018...what then? Do we then get the buyout price of today minus what was already received? I would assume so, but I've seen nothing in writing stating that specifically.
  20. if my math's is correct ill be getting back 14,357 if I sell my car back to them. not bad considering I bought it in march of last year for 12,500
  21. I agree you will hate manual valves. Honestly, V2 management can be had for 500-650 ish and its a great system.
  22. My dad had Wizardwraps in Sunbury wrap the roof on one of his cars and they did amazing work and the guy was awesome to work with. He was showing some of his past work and its very impressive.
  23. that was the only part I laughed too was the corvette. the show was terrible and I will not even try and watch the second episode. The funny thing is Chris Evans took to twitter to say how much a hit the show was....... yea no shit it had great ratings, people just wanted to see how it was I'm sure a lot of people wont be back for episode two. also the star In a reasonably priced car is now a Mini cooper rally spec.... the track is now a rally track...... uhh what? no longer is the car not reasonably priced its just boring to watch.
