I drove on the head gasket for a few weeks, but had the compression and oil checked last week and both look great. It is a slight headgasket leak on the exhaust side so coolant is coming into the #2 cylinder and the VAST majority of it is burning up. It runs and drives fine Oil pressure is good. I just wouldn't suggest trying to go WOT until the head gasket is replaced. I picked up a new Daily Driver yesterday so I will be Parking the GTP and working on the smaller things with it. I may demod if I can't sell as a whole.

The tensioner pulley broke a few weeks ago, this caused the car to overheat trying to coast to my mechanic a few hundred feet from where this happened, this popped the radiator, and now it's burning a little bit of oil. This was found to be a SMALL head gasket leak letting coolant into #2 cylinder, however the Car still runs and drives fine, doesn't overheat, holds oil PSI fine, and compression is good in all cylinders. This is my daily driver, but I picked up a car that accomidates the family so I no longer need the GTP. It is a great car ready for a new home. Asking $3250 OBO Thanks, Shane/Nachius

I'm not 100% sure what transmission is in it, but here is what I know: It has Low,1, 2, 3, and Reverse Manual Tranny Shifter is on the side of the case not directly in the top and for some reason I want to say it's a T10 maybe muncie or borg warner? You're welcome to come look at it if interested in Chillicothe, or if you know where I can read the model number etc. without pulling it.

It isn't a Pyramid Scheme. Some people that have "heard" about it, but have not dealt with it may claim to be. It's not easy money or get rich quick. It's a way to make a little bit of extra money with some effort. Many people have heard of it, but a lot of people only know it as hearsay. It's reselling products from partnered vendors and exclusive products offered only through the company a wide range from energy drinks to barnes and noble type stuff. Some car stuff, circut city etc. You can also benefit from signing up others to sell as well, which is where some people get the whole "pyramid" scheme idea which it is not, as the person you sign up has every availability to make more money the person signing them up. I didn't want to go into full details because it's a fairly complex business that I don't have the whole knowledge to put out there and I don't want to quote anything wrong which is why I didn't post exactly what it was. Regardless if that sounds like an option you would be interested in let me know if not, no big deal!

I have since picked up another truck so this is still for sale/trade, but I can probably let go of it eaiser now. I am interested in other daily drivers, maybe a camaro/firebird roller? any electronics/computer stuff, video games etc. I don't have anything to put motors/trannies in at the moment

Let me know if anyone else needs the Truck for the Derby as I'm negotiable and willing to take partial trade ofr electronics, computers, etc.

It isn't "blown up" I still drive it daily, I believe it is very SLIGHT damage to the head gasket if that is the actual problem as the smoke is VERY minimal and the coolant/oil are not leaking at all that I can see and they are not burning rapidly. I am not demodding right now, but if I don't get something reasonable I may consider demodding.

I will be doing a compression and leakdown test sometime in the next week. I already have a quote for repair if in fact it is the head gasket, I'll keep everything updated as more changes

Buck, IF I had to guess on the issue I would say head gasket, but I haven't verified yet. As far as price since this is a "trade" only I'm looking for something valued around 4-5k. IF I find another vehicle before this goes somewhere and I do sell it outright I will post a "purchase" price.

I would love to keep the car and fix it the rest of the way, but this is my daily driver and can't be without a car while I fix it.
