Thanks for the input everyone. After some thinking about things I decided on this. 1. http://www.texas-speed.com/item_detail.asp?ProductID=1261 (in place of my off road y-pipe) 2. http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=partdetail.asp?part=BOR-40944 (in place of my dynomax) We will see how this setup works out. Ant! whats going on man! I will be off weekends and back to normal at the end of the year. I need to get out more when I am back to working week days again. From what I hear you are about half the Anthony you use to be and the formy has some big plans this winter!

My current setup it too loud! I must be getting old or something. Current setup: Pacesetter coated LT's and off road y-pipe (no cats), into a dynomax 18' bullet muffler, and a "dynomouth" cat back. What I am looking for (if possible) is something that will quiet things down a fair amount at idle but will not rob me of much HP. What should I go with? In the perfect world, I would be able to find a True Dual setup that had high flow cats plus mufflers to quiet things down and still keep my HP around where it is now.... I know this is a near impossible option though, I want HP and a toned down exhaust

For quality purposes,Jantzer by far Anthony. Look at the way Jantzer has filled the holes for the sensors. It is much smother looking and the polishing job looks great. You can't see in the pic all that well but the Jantzer also files the t-body stop so you get a 100% throttle at WOT instead of 98%. Get your order in ASAP though. As I recall (last year) Jantzer takes his sweet time getting the finished product back to you. I actually ended up with a Shaner t-body last year and it worked out really well for me. It looks like you might see a lot more HP gains from this t-body than a set of 2001 Chrome T/A rims -
I am off those days. Let me know if you need a hand. graemlins/thumb.gif

I will also say Insight DVR blows! I am stuck with it due to the fact that my apartment complex only offers Insight. The thing I hate most about it is the fact that it will only record one show at a time. The cable has to stay on that chanel to record.... AKA you have to watch the show you are recording. I can however watch a recorded program while recording another. Like Joe said the menu's are a pain to navigate and adds are all over the place. I will have to stick this out untill Insight rolls out a better DVR or when I move. I do have a DVD burner upstairs though so I record shows upstairs when two are on at the same time. It works out well for me.... a tempory solution. If you have a choice go with WOW first then Time Warner second. Dump insight ASAP if possible.

Thanks for all the input guys! It looks like he has some research to do, I will let you know what he decides later this weekend.

Im sorry what did you just say? Must.... stop looking at boobies graemlins/leghump.gif Nitrous could be fun graemlins/thumb.gif What kind of shot should he run on a stock motor? He is going to want to stay a bit more on the conserative side.
-
He does not plan on spending a lot of money on this. If he gets a beater he will be tempted to do just that tongue.gif
-
lol, I said basic bolt on mods. A supercharger is a bit more than basic. tongue.gif I allready tried to convince him of that one. He wants simple mods like Throttle bodie, Pullies ETC.... It is his only car and he racks up the miles on it. The mods will need to be daily driver friendly.
-
I have a friend that is looking into doing some basic bolt on mods for his 1997 GT. What would be some good mods to do? How about some good forums or other on line resources to check out.

Well as some of you allready know someone backed into my TA at the rest area off of 71 before heading to Norwalk. The TA was parked and I was not in it at the time (outside talking to some peope about the fun day at the track to come). I didnt see it happen but some CR guys did and stoped her from leaving before getting my attention. She claimed that she did not even feel it happen . Everyone was kind enough to wait for me to finish getting all the needed information before leaving up twards Norwalk. I got a estimate for the damage today.... $825.71. The guy at the body shop said he might find some stuff to fix along the way so that number will more than likely go up. I would like to thank the 3 guys in the white cavy that stoped the lady from leaving.... that was really cool of you.
