i may be way off, but if theyre just getting it right after the install, what are the chances its the shit they line the pipes with to bend them burning off? i know i read or heard somewhere they line the tubes with some kind of grese or something to bend them. i know when i put a catback on my old car, it smoked like that a bit as soon as it was started, but after that, i didnt notice anything plus, it was no where near that much smoke

+1 more for a remington 870 (12 guage, of course). you can even shoot slugs from a smooth bore, so not 100% necessary to have 2 different barrels. plus, you can probably get one for $250, maybe $350 with both barrels. itll last a life time. i've had mine since i was 13 (23 now), its old, beat up, heavily used, and still goes bang every time i pull the trigger

be happy shes getting into guns. my g/f doesnt like them, even though her grandpa is a gunsmith and shes grown up around them now whenever i want to buy a new gun, i hear her bitch, tell her to shut up, and realize its not her money im spending, but my own. if its that much of a problem, we can trade. ill even arrange for delivery. lol

in my living room, we have a sliding glass door to our balcony. because of this, in the winter, it either makes the room much colder than the rest of the apartment, or drives up our electricity bill to keep the heat going any ideas? i dont know if theres something i can put on the glass (would like to not block out the ability to see outside completely), around the frame, etc??

if its like my old car, i just had to pop the old one out, put new one through the hole, and tighten down the lug nut. once it starts getting tight, it will pull the base of the stud into that hole and seat it. i probably had to replace 3 or 4 over a few years. was no big deal after the first one -
my g/fs aunt called up there to see if she could take all of us for dinner and a show(me, g/f, g/fs sister and her b/f, aunt and b/f)...only one under 21 was my g/fs sister, and they said even with her aunt there, she couldn get in we had tried a year earlier, 4 of us to get in with a buddy who was 20, saying he was going to be the DD, and they wouldnt let him in go to shadowbox. they usually have decent shows and you can get in under 21

exactly what i was thinking, on both points. 50 degrees is maybe sweatshirt weather. we had a good selection when i worked at gander mountain, which is less than 10 min from where you are. buckeye a little further. hell, you should have looked into cabelas online. when i used to order from them, it was always fast, always right. they were great. i used to drop a few hundred bucks a year there when i was 14-17. was a lot of money when youre still in HS.

i guess im not so much focused now on losing a lot more weight. my bathroom scale (which seems to be about 3-4lbs less than the scale at the gym or the dr. office my mom works at) says i went from about 212 to around 175.5 as of this afternoon before dinner. ive still got a little gut i want to get rid of and tone up a bit. going to start swimming again soon which was a hell of a workout when i was on it. i decided to start eating better again a couple days ago, trying to get in more natural protein (chicken, egg whites, lean fish), veggies, and low carbs, low sodium. i've never been one for sodas (might have a diet coke once a month), candy bars, cake/pie, ice cream, etc. i can *maybe* do one of those four 1-2x/mo im going to try to stick to the eating healthy again, and try to get in an extra day into the gym...i think i swayed away from it last time because it was a pain in the ass shopping for the stuff i needed, and it started to cost some $. started today with 5 egg whites with some salsa, lunch had a burrito shell with chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, corn, a little white rice, and a pinch of shredded cheese, fat free yogurt, and a pint of skim milk....should have a decent amount of protein dinner was ocean perch, with a fat-free sour cream/mustard/paprika topping, white rice, and some peas. none of it really tasted horrible, and it was enough to keep me sane and not starving throughout the day

yeah, i tried that a while ago, actually got used to it with water, since they dont have milk at the gym (lol), but i wasn't noticing anything. wasn't sure if it was because it was meijer brand or if its all the same

sounds like the guy i was working out with had me on something similar to that he's had me doing monday - shoulder press (seated, dumbells from shoulders to over head) straight bar curl leg curl (which i've stopped currently, bothering my lower back from car accident) butterflies chin ups shrugs (eased up due to back) seated row leg lifts wednesday - flat bench incline bench dumbbell bench hammer pull down dumbbell curls dumbbell shoulders (single dumbbell straight out from hip forward, both dumbbells from hip up on side, then one seated, dumbbells under legs, and lifting, almost like a bird flapping) dips rows extensions (dumbbell behind head, up and down) and i've been doing 2-3 sets of 50-60 crunches both days ill try to work out a schedule to try that out, as i may be having my issues from doing this for months now. been doing 1st 2 weeks, 2 sets 20 reps, low weight, next 2 weeks 3 sets 12 reps, more weight, next 2 weeks, 3 sets 8 reps, more weight, 3 sets 6 reps, and max on the 10th week or so how much protien should i be trying to get in daily? i've heard some people say 1/2 your weight in grams, and some say your weight in grams...so that varies anywhere from 90-180 gr/day

im all ears. im not looking to get overly huge, but a little more than im at now. really like to be able to look in the mirror and notice a bit of muscle/definition, instead of just being able to see it when i flex a certain muscle group.

so for a while now, i've been hitting the gym 2-3 times a week. lost quite a bit of fat, and seem to be gaining a little muscle. seems like im at a plateau now. what should i be taking to gain some more lean muscle? i know protiens from food are good, but with my schedule, i leave work, go to the gym, and head home. what i've read/heard, its best to take protien within 30 minutes of working out, which isn't really possible. is there any good protien shake mix i can throw in my gym bag to take after im done working out, and get it in that optimal time? also, anything else i should consider? so far all ive done is hit the gym, do what i can, go up when i can, and try to watch what i eat so im not consuming junk, or anywhere close to the amount of fast food i use to down on a weekly basis
