  1. Yes, but at a MUCH lower rate. Death rate is around .5 in 100,000 cases for fully vaccinated people. It's about 14x higher in the pro-covid crowd that refuses to get their shots. You tell me which odds you'd prefer. 🤷^♂️
  2. That sucks. He swapped a motor for me years ago. Still too many people not taking this shit seriously. Might be a wake up call for people that covid doesn't discriminate and vaccines greatly reduce the chance of death.
  3. I have some parts I'm reconditioning to flip, and part of the set(s) are galvanized steel bars that have an OD of 1 1/16". I'm trying to find some sort of product, likely a heat shrink wrap that hopefully comes in a roll (some pieces are 48", some up to 66"), and once shrunk, are not more than about 1mm thick. The bars once wrapped need to be 1 1/8". I have about 12-14 bars here and all have cracked coating and of course no one wants to buy something that looks like trash, even if the bars themselves are solid. Figured maybe someone here might have a good suggestion. Would love to stay around $1/foot to make it worth trying to fix these and still make a profit.
  4. Man that'd be amazing. If they had something like one of the 4x 25ct boxes, that would be great. Ideally under $20/box. Not sure how realistic that is. Feel free to shoot me a text since I'll see that way faster than a message here. 614-385-3826. Thanks! Edit - shit I just looked at their website and saw this. These would be ideal and looks like some of the only Federal loads they have not out of stock on the website. Not sure how closely that matches in store... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/117236/federal+h1255+game-shok+upland+heavy+field+12+ga+275+1+14+oz+5+round+25+bx+10+cs
  5. Anyone sitting on anything? #5 is preferred, #4 would be 2nd choice, and #6 3rd, but beggars can't be choosers. Couple of us decided kinda last minute to take a trip to KS next weekend (leaving 12/11) with another buddy to hunt pheasants, and can't find shit for ammo. Got some 7.5s so we can hunt quail, but still looking for pheasant rounds. Really don't want to to have to spend $200+ and buy 250 shells on gunbroker. I'd rather not have to try to find ammo once we get out there and don't like to be the guy at the mercy of my buddy to have him sell me ammo, because then that cuts into his supply, and he hunts pheasants a hell of a lot more than I do.
  6. Honestly would have no idea how to do any of that, hence why I wanted to see what kind of cost a machine shop would charge. If I could get them made for a reasonable enough price, it'd make sense. If it's gonna cost close to or above what I resell them for, then I guess I'll just continue looking for people selling them for cheap and fixing up old junk ones.
  7. Can anyone recommend a machine shop that has the ability to stamp out metal parts? Long story short, I have a product I've been buying, refurbishing, and reselling. The product is no longer produced by the original manufacturer (they have moved on to a newer product). I'm basically interested in trying to produce an aftermarket product that works with the discontinued system as some variations (there are about 150 but I only want to recreate the most popular 10-15) are still a hot seller. More or less, it's a wide L bracket, but each one has some variation to it. Height, angle of L bend, etc. I'm also currently reaching out to a patent attorney to make sure I'm covering my ass and not stepping on any toes, as I've never done something like this. Thanks in advance
  8. If your wife doesn't work, it sounds like you own "her" car.
  9. I saw the AG site linked above. If I'm reading correctly like what you say about them buying it back, while that sounds nice, I like the car and want to keep it. Lol. And if they buy it back, I then have to buy a new car. As we know, the market is crazy right now. I got this right at the start of the pandemic (April 2020) when they thought market was gonna be shit, got sweet financing, no payments for 120 days, what I felt was a fair/good price...I took a peek yesterday and best financing they have is 0%/60mo and the same trim is ~4k+ more for a 2021 than I paid for my 2020 and the 21s are ~9k more. To do either of those is going to be a huge jump in a car payment, one that I already don't want as is 😂. It'd be nice if they could say "well here's a identical 2020 and we'll move your financing/etc to this one" but I know that won't be the case.
  10. I'm not sure if I actually *need* one, but since I'm just some guy, probably wouldn't hurt. Looks like I'll have to wait to see if this 3rd "fix" actually does the trick or not. My concern right now is that this is happening every 1k miles or so, and I have trips planned mid june and end of july to NC and VA, which are both gonna put ~1k miles on the car...on both trips I'll have a car full of stuff and 4 bicycles on a hitch rack and I'm sure trying to get something from whatever dealership I may have to go to while on vacation (which is a headache just thinking about it) is not going to be something that will haul everything I need + have a hitch for my bikes. And what if it happens last day of trip and here I am stuck for extra days? Basically I don't want to be dealing with this but since it happens at random with no rhyme or reason, who knows when it'll happen again. Both times previously it was supposed to be a random issue and resolved and here we are. 🤷^♂️
  11. Anyone ever have to do this? I have a 2020 Tucson that recently will drop into 4th gear while on the highway and not shift out. Blind spot warning and forward collision warning usually pop up (first time not a car within 50m). Trans shifting down sounds like I hit a giant pothole (never have). Each time I took it in, they cleared some codes, repinned a connector. It's happening at intervals of around 1k miles. Car is just under 12k miles now and ive had it 1 year + ~3 weeks, but I saw online if it started within the 12k/12mo window and still isn't resolved I may still be covered. Obviously I want to talk to someone because after being told twice it was a fluke issue and it keeps happening, I'm losing confidence that it'll get fixed. I like the car otherwise and really don't want to deal with getting a new one, especially since I got some sweet 0% financing, but I can't keep dealing with this.
  12. My old car (2009 Legacy) usually did 27ish on the freeway. I took a trip to PA with 2 bicycles on the roof (super un-aero) and when I filled up I was at 20.2mpg.
  13. Saw it at Gallo's in Powell just now. Looks sick. https://photos.app.goo.gl/E1GjCvTbFqKKKE6N6
  14. Anyone have something cheap they want to get rid of? I have a compressor already. Just need to strip paint off some small metal parts and tired of soaking in acetone and wire brushing them, when I know a blaster would take it all off in a minute.
  15. Be prepared to pay covid tax on used bikes. I run a fb bike sale group with a few thousand people and bike prices in the last year are insane. And shops can't get parts, inventory, so it's just driving used prices up. Bikes that'd sell for $500 2 years ago selling for $1200+
